Its not new for me, since big businesses nowadays are not engaging into cryptocurrency, most especially Facebook where they would introduced their own coin called libra, in the long run, more and more businesses will engage into cryptocurrency and this could be a good news for everybody, as they will have trust to cryptocurrency, later on, it could be widely adopted.
The problem with this is that they will be looking to launching their own coin instead of utilizing one of the already existing ones. I cannot see how this will help crypto because at the end of the day the coin will not be decentralized. We may be looking at another ripple coin if mastercard goes ahead with this

It's a domino effect, we will see more big companies and of course small companies, finally coming into the industry and maybe creating their own chains since they have the funds, and they already have services to provide, they are going to succeed and it's actually a win-win situation, the only issue is if they are going o have an issue with the government.
Yes we will get there, at least with these giant companies all looking at cryptocurrency solution to apply to their current system, things would begin to get much more difficult for government now in declaring cryptocurrency illegal and they might start looking for several ways to just adopt the system and then control it, I mean probably regulate it.

I think this is a pointer in the right direction but i also wonder why it took them this long to come to branch into crypto space..Aside from being the future, crypto has proven to be ideal im ecery industry thay warrants a facelift and in my opinion the digital payment processing industry greately requires this technology.

Previously, the mastercard had a negative attitude towards cryptocurrencies and forbade banks to issue cards through which the direct withdrawal of any cryptocurrency would be allowed. They probably realized the prospects of cryptocurrencies and made the right decision.

So finally we will have stable credit card with using crypto. In past those that offered those credit cards were all sooner or latter taken down.
