wow. it's good news for people who are interested in crypto game
It is high-time people start believing in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. These are the new revolution to our financial system.
The fractional reserve on Blockchain is an interesting idea I have thought about too. That is, putting in good use the huge amount of wealth that is stored in Crypto. You could loan out thousands of Bitcoin not owned by you to businesses/companies. But that goes against the idea of Crypto which is to make people have total control over their Crypto.
Could easily work if the Company/Bank owns the Node with people's Cryptocurrency or through the use of private "Blockchain"... the kind of blockchain Governments and Banks would love.

I think this is good news for the development of crypto in front of the day. there are currently some positive rumors until the market strengthens. perhaps with the involvement of mastercards could bring about major changes to the crypto industry. I am happy to look forward to other news

This statement from Mastercard is perhaps more important than all statements from different banks in the aggregate. Mastercard has a very big weight in the world of finance. This is a very positive signal for the banking sector and the cryptocurrency market.
Any blockchain expert here have any idea how can they improved confirmations time? (I assuming they are talking about the limitations of blockchain here in terms of the speed on how a block is confirm).

Do you reckon Mastercard know anything about how to improve the functionality of an actual blockchain? I'm doubtful. And it's not as if any of the main coins would accept a Mastercard fork either. Fiat spending is their business.
I expect it'll be just the same as an existing crypto debit card. You deposit your BTC with them, or presumably some partner like Coinbase, and you spend the balance.
"fractional reserves of blockchain currency" is an unfortunate turn of phrase. I presume that means you're spending fractions of your Bitcoin reserve through them. I don't like the alternative interpretation.
I also think the same, but yes, probably they used to "flowery" words on their description and it makes a lot confusion in the first place. So still as much as MasterCard put a spin on it and picture as if they are joining the crypto game, they are not, and only riding the popularity of crypto sphere.

While this looks like a good news, but actually their patent about "fractional reserves of blockchain currency." could be a big disaster and kill the point of using Bitcoin.

It's definitely good news but only IF they go into this full force...if they half-ass it then I won't be as impressed.
Good news that is what my ears are hearing concerning more adoption of bitcoin. If MasterCard will adopt bitcoin then the game has started for bitcoin wider adoption. This is an awesome news and the value of bitcoin in the market and also the demand will arise.
Actualy Mastercard is already present in.crypto world with Bitcoin debit cards, like Mistertango for example

I'm hoping that this thing is true in order for bitcoin to grow up again. If this is true, truly this is a great news for cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is probably the best coin there is, no doubt about it. And mastercard, it is seemingly unstoppable with this. They are in the game!

Yes it's looking great news for all cryptocurrency lovers because of MasterCard are going to enter in cryptocurrency world, I think there are so many crypto companies are doing great deal with MasterCard services.
This is great news to the crypto community as more platforms keep on embracing the use of cryptocurrencies as an acceptable mode of payment especially the use of bitcoin. I believe with time more platforms will announce their acceptance of bitcoin which will finally move us into the global acceptance of bitcoin.
Always great to see big players accepting bitcoin. They have to do it soon otherwise they will lose customers as people switch to ICO projects that make credit cards which accept bitcoin as payment
