I paid 0.03 BTC/MSC, giving a nice 300% ROI for listbtc Smiley (well, technically he got 30 BTC for free as the 1000 mastercoins were given as extra).
This is actually a very good price in comparison to what I have been offered. The other asks range from 0.05 each to a whopping 0.2.

Bitcoin is too valuable to be used as a currency

Glad to see first transaction for MSC, so at that rate, I assume the ROI is currently at 200% for early investors. Thats very nice, even though I feel like this project is going to be worth alot more in the not so distant future. Smiley

Very welcome! Thanks for your generosity, but no need to send anything.
Happy to be part of this the first public Mastercoin trade Smiley

Edit: Thanks a lot for the tip, lishbtc – wouldn't have been necessary.

Thanks for the trade Olimpiata Smiley

Appreciate the help maxmint - small tip (few bucks, 0.25BTC) to say thanks sent to your address (the one used for escrow).

Cheers!

Excellent trade. Many thanks maxmint for providing the service. I shall send some btc to you (in the morning, it is late here in the UK!). Would you prefer I sent it to the escrow address or another?

lishbtc, great doing business with you. I think we did well here securing the first publicly view-able BTC<->MSC transaction. Hopefully others learn from this! Smiley

You would check the Mastercoin transaction by verifying the 3x 0.00006 transactions came from the address we agreed.

You could also use mastercoin-explorer.com with the txid I posted earlier but I think the 'check transaction' functionality is still being developed.

Yes, mastercoin-explorer does show a valid transaction:
http://mastercoin-explorer.com/transactions/b247d3ef106a5dfae7a8f4f0176d8d3b7c1b85fe3db719ba8dd5628a9264c39b

Still, you should verify manually. To me, it looks like everything is OK.

Ok, now that the MSC transaction has confirmation, I am happy for maxmint to release the funds.

Alright, funds released:

How would I check the MasterCoin transaction? With the bitcoin transaction ID?

Unfortunately, there's no tool yet to check the balance of any given address. There's mastercoin-explorer.com, but this will only show the balance of addresses that purchased Mastercoins directly from the Exodus address.
For now, we'll have to check transactions manually. Also see my post here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.3079420

Any progress?

Checking the sending address on blockchain.info:

Quote
12bDX26J84x545pzfSZouULeqjfBtAe9Lv (0.00563572 BTC - Output)

1EXoDusjGwvnjZUyKkxZ4UHEf77z6A5S4P 0.00006 BTC
1QF9Hag3nyjAcXRd6mFrL5KyM3r71hVu2T 0.00006 BTC
1Q4jxXvLTeknEvXm62YkjFETs8sCkVhePv 0.00006 BTC
1MnER5A3nHKKiW84ExxaYUUrZphL3hDwB4 0.00495572 BTC

All looks good. First 3 are exactly as requested, the last one (0.00495572 BTC) seems to be change.
To my knowledge, the Mastercoin transfer is complete.

I'd say let's wait for 1 confirmation and then I'll release the escrow funds to 1LqVYQunBMCmiiNzY62Z6oYPzwM2hGE38h.
Everyone OK with that?

Yep, that's why I wanted to get the 'sendmany' syntax right so they all went at the same time Smiley

Nevermind - syntax was wrong but found the correct method.

I see the BTC escrow is confirmed, sending the MSC transactions now.

Yes, 30 BTC on escrow address received and confirmed.
As dacoinminster noted, make sure to send all parts at once:

Also, make sure you send them all at once. The spec originally called for being able to send them one at a time, but nobody has done it that way yet, and it may be unsupported.

Just a quickie - is the sendmany syntax correct?

sendmany 12bDX26J84x545pzfSZouULeqjfBtAe9Lv 1EXoDusjGwvnjZUyKkxZ4UHEf77z6A5S4P:0.00006 1QF9Hag3nyjAcXRd6mFrL5KyM3r71hVu2T:0.00006 1Q4jxXvLTeknEvXm62YkjFETs8sCkVhePv:0.00006

Cheers

Addresses seem to be correct, not absolutely sure about the syntax.
