Think the issue always gets twisted when religion is mixed with freedom of speech.
Some people are not able to get behind a issue because they refuse to align themselves with Christians.
The schools seem to want to control all aspects of their students and faculty, recently saw rape victims had to sign
forms that they would not disclose this to the public if it happened on school grounds or another student. Quite a few
still have these bills in place and it makes little sense to protect the rapist,so its all public image.

Freedom of speech needs to be protected and the sly ways they pick away at it means its that much more important for people to stand up and say it is not right.
If we go from a political perspective it is characteristic of a stealthy intrusion by the left pushing forth an agenda that on the surface looks like it supports liberties and freedoms by removing Hate Speech as defined by the left and introducing Trigger Warnings on anything they deem controversial in classrooms.

However if you look underneath that surface their is a ruse there that really seeks to stifle any debate that is deemed against their mainstream opinion under the label of Hate Speech and or controverisal issues to stifle free-speech and conversation.

This results in the rewriting of textbooks to remove any inconvienent truths about the past and perverting the textbooks used in Academic discussion towards a certain bias or perspective, example picking on Catcher and the Rye and the Great Gatsby because they could be shocking even though its been used for generations as a fairly non contentious set of books.

Or as mentioned already through examples stomping on religious liberties under the guise of equality.
America is undergoing a change towards SJW leanings in their Universities but as it is done in what seems to be a reasonable way on the surface people tend to ignore the losses of freedom they are really experiencing.

These so-called institutions of higher learning are becoming nothing but mental institutions, churning-out nut-cases and teeming with insanity, molding and warping these people into these sjw pc-bots and anyone who does not bend to and accept this must be pointed-out and vilified.

Not all of these institutions, but a vast majority of them. Universities and colleges are being used by the radical feminists and the LGBT nuts to spread their toxic heterophobic and anti-white propaganda. They are trying to repeat the success they had in Norway and Sweden, in countries such as the United States and the United Kingdom.

Perhaps he should ask Reverend Pussy Jackson and the Southern Poverty Law Center guys to help him. Then he should file a civil suit against the University, claiming ethnic discrimination. He can argue that he was harassed due to his skin color, rather than as a result of his Facebook post. Let the LGBT goons get a taste of their own medicine.

I found some more cases of discrimination done at the University level for discussion.

Tennessee wants to pass a bill to avoid future lawsuits for therapists referring clients to someone if they feel uncomfortable councilling them, the response is that this is discriminatory.
If there weren't already cases that demonstrate that it has been used by the LGBT community to try to cleanse the councilling profession of religous individuals on several occasions I would deem it reasonable but this is getting extreme.

The first involved a young woman named Emily Brooker, a social-work student at Missouri State University. Emily’s academic “crime” was refusing a professor’s demand that she sign her name to a letter to the state legislature advocating gay adoption. Rather than recognizing that teachers can’t compel students to engage in political advocacy, the professor accused her of a “Level 3” grievance (the university’s most serious academic offense).

The department then subjected Emily to a Star Chamber–style political inquiry, where a panel of professors demanded to know whether she was a “sinner” and kept her from having a lawyer, an advocate, or even her own mother in the room. The panel convicted her of the offense and required her to change her beliefs as a condition of graduation.

She sued and the result was a legal precdent that stated academic performance and individual beliefs are independent variables. They have nothing to do with each other.

Missouri Passed Provision J of House Bill 213, known as the “Emily Brooker Higher Education Sunshine Act" that dealt with “conflicts between personal beliefs and classroom assignments.” To protect the right of conscience of students who face political litmus tests at their schools.

The second Case:
Julia Ward referred a Gay individual to another councellor without incident only to be tried by the University Board and expelled her from her program.

Julia was in the final stages of her graduate counseling program when she was asked to counsel a gay man about his same-sex relationship. She declined and referred the file to another counselor who had no moral objections. The client was counseled without incident. Indeed, he didn’t even know his file had been referred. The university, however, found her referral intolerable and subjected Julia to a “formal review,” accusing her of “imposing values that are inconsistent with counseling goals” and of discrimination based on sexual orientation.

Once again, a student was summoned to the Star Chamber, and once again public officials probed a private citizen’s religious beliefs. One university official actually held it against her that she “communicated an attempt to maintain [her] belief system.” She was expelled from the program just weeks before graduation.

To deny these problems breeds intolerance and scare mongering in the media is killing the issue. Tolerance is a two way street there is no need to project fear and hate for what can be seen to have already been used against religous individuals on multiple occasions.

That said to my knowledge the media is factually incorrect about Tennessee being the only state to allow counselors to refuse to treat patients based on the counselors' own belief systems based on the context of Emily Brooker in Missouri and Julia Ward Bill in Michiagan.
At least that is what ABC reported just food for thought.

These schools are getting crazy in how they want to control the mind of those that study with them. Should make a list for people to see which schools create free minds and which one stagnate and control for their own optics.
Its a attack on freedom of expression and the fact it is not becoming a rallying cry is part of the issue in the States for why people are such sheep.

Students should focus on studies more and there is nothing more important for students and that is study.

If the LGBT students are permitted to take out gay-pride marches and sodomite orgies in the University of Sheffield, then I don't understand why Felix Ngole should be punished for making a Facebook comment in support of Kim Davis. Freedom of speech must be for everyone, and not just limited to the Sodomite community members.

Mind boggling. Unless he starts exterminating gay folks on campus it's none of their fucking business what he thinks and feels.

He should sue to get his tuition back. They will reinstate him so fast he will be on fire. Liberals don't mind making everyone else sacrifice for their values, but when they are forced to sacrifice for their values suddenly it is not as important as it was when other people were sacrificing for them.

Students should focus on studies more and there is nothing more important for students and that is study.

How is he supposed to study if they kicked him out?

Some guys turn to be extremists way too fast. I heard that there is a big problem with students in a certain western country too. Don't remember which one it was. They were VERY hard against other opinions. Really creepy.

Guess some people tend to extreme positions.

Having an opinion is enough to get you banned from University course at a Masters level, what is the world coming to.
So much for that tuition time and effort.

A Masters student who posted a Facebook comment earlier this year that was critical of gay marriage was purportedly expelled from a university course as a result — and has now lost a subsequent challenge to that decision.

Felix Ngole, 38, was reportedly kicked out of the University of Sheffield two months after publishing a message on his personal page that was supportive of Kentucky clerk Kim Davis — the local government official who was briefly jailed after refusing to issue gay marriage licenses.

Ngole, a married father of four, is a Christian who was studying in his second year of a Masters program in social work, Christian Today reported.

He posted the comment, which purportedly quoted from Leviticus and was critical of homosexuality, on a Facebook thread that included arguments from both sides of the debate, but after a student complained, the school reportedly took action.

The University of Sheffield’s Fitness to Practice Committee reportedly decided that his message was problematic and that he had ”transgressed boundaries which are not deemed appropriate for someone entering the Social Work profession,” so he was subsequently cut off from the class.

Ngole then lost his appeal of that decision, which he challenged at the university level.

“The way I was treated made me feel that their duty of care to me immediately ended from the day they received that complaint,” he told the Telegraph before the appeal. ”I am not against people who are in same-sex relationships, that is their choice, but I am a Christian and if asked for my views I should be free to express that.”

Ngole, who is being represented by the U.K.’s Christian Legal Centre, maintained that he didn’t discriminate against or intimidate anyone.

He continued, “I have worked with people in same-sex relationships in the past and there has been no issue whatsoever but the university said that if someone Googled me and found that (comment) they would not be confident to come to me for support.”

Rather than give up his fight, Ngole plans to take legal action, as he said that the case “raises all sorts of legal questions” about whether Christians are allowed to hold “traditional biblical and moral beliefs and still enter mainstream professions such as social work, medicine, teaching and law in this country.”
