Arranging our upcoming event in Paris is not an easy job but it is done mainly in order to get Matchpool's name on the map and attract many potential future users.
Alongside this we are making great PR efforts, trying to reach as many communities as possible some through our Bounty campaign and some in other ways.
We also believe that our "female giveaways" of GUP will be very rewarding and bring a lot of female users into the platform which will attract many other users to follow....

And of course as any other project in this market we will be as good as our community will be and we can use all the help from you guys in order to create this amazing vision come alive

The MVP (or Minimal Viable Product) is basically a core and very basic version of the Matchpool platform, where matches can only be maid by the pool host and the entire Div's and Points systems is not yet implemented. also the communication between pool members at this stage will be done solely in a public manner and direct private messaging will not be possible.

The event in Paris will be both a PR event and also a product promoting one, an early alpha version will be presented along with our smart contracts.

Regarding GUP volatility, as all Altcoins it will be stupid not to think it is going to be volatile, however I don't see this deffer from any other Cryptoproject...
At first the trading of the coin will probably cause great changes in price but after a short term the price will settled and pool entrance and monthly subscription fees will be decided accordingly
Hopefully in the future the price will rise making the fees adjust.

Creating a dating app is very hard. Even Tinder had to hustle like crazy when they started out by targetting fraternities and sororities and forcing them to use the app. What are you guys going to do to get the network started? Any interesting tactics to get things started?

The term MVP is used in the roadmap laid out in the whitepaper, but I couldn't find its definition, I assume its something to do with the matchpool platform. Also, I understand there will be a small testing event in Paris on Valentine's day, do you intend to engage early adopters with an alpha version after the crowdsale so potential hosts can familiarize themselves with the platform?

To be clear, GUPs will be created in the manner laid out and total supply will be permanently fixed? No further GUP creations will ever occur? Do you expect any problems might arise due to speculation interfering with utility, for example should GUPs become highly speculative and extremely volatile could this deter joiners from using matchpool services or leave them with feelings of having overpaid depending on their time of purchase?

Anyway, I've been online dating for over 10 years and have used services including hot or not, okcupid, match, tinder, plenty of fish and bumble and I am very interested in being an alpha tester in the San Francisco area, where online dating has been the norm for years.

Pools are all about the interaction in it of course one can speak whatever language he wants in it, if others will understand...that's depending on the pool's specific parameters when it is opened.

Pools will be available only in English and will be able to create your own pool representative of the various countries in their own language?

Yup i agree, thus project will definitely success and I think the team already said that they will provide an escrow before the ICO begin though by posting somewhere in here.

In Valentines we are hosting a big party in Paris France, where we will create our first experimental pool of people and celebrate in general the launch of Matchpool - of course we would love to see all of you! and you can check our BLOG for further information on this regard

About demand and GUP price, like all other projects with designated token use as Matchpool App gains more and more traction those who wish to participate will have to buy GUPs either on exchanges or through the App, the more buys the bullish the market will be, making the price of the token go higher and speculators such as yourself wealthier.

Regarding the ICO process, the smart contract will be deployed with fix parameters assigning 130 GUP for each ETH sent within the first hour, than 120 for the first 3 days and so on...
Regardless of the distribution date the assigning of tokens are determined at the time of the investment and so those who participate in the power hour will earn the bonus regardless of the ICO duration.

Last but maybe most important of all, like any new idea and concept their will be a learning curve of pools profitability assessment, but as we will go forward pools makers will have their reputation play a crucial role. those who will put their efforts into it will gain many participants and those who won't do nothing soon will lose all credibility and will find it hard to enlist participants. As this whole platform is based on human connection and interaction those who will fail to provide this aspect will soon enough be out of the game.
