There's an admin note on his account so he might have already been banned/unbanned at one point:

Admin investigation required for any plagiarism report before November 03, 2020, 10:25:02 AM
If that would have happened, shouldn't he have received a 1 or 2 year signature ban?
It is possible that he made some argument supporting that his posts were not plagiarism.

He seems to have a long history of posting articles, along with their links. I don't know if he forgot to include a citation in those two posts if he somehow owns the rights to that content if he was being employed to specifically promote those articles, or if there was something else that made his posts acceptable, or at least forgivable.

While I don't want to be making baseless accusations here
I do: they switched from Russian to Turkish to English. The account might even have changed hands more than once.

There was a hack in 2015 and a lot of user didn’t change their password; all these accounts were compromised most likely. I guess mich is one of them; don't have proof though, based on their post history. If it was the original owner, I doubt they would plagiarize these days. I wouldn’t surprise if it was his early days.

Judging by this thread, it is possible that this is an account that was sold and not hacked - and this is supported by the fact that user mich promoted Bitcasino for a very long time, which paid him as much as 0.018 BTC per week for garbage like such posts.

As an interesting thing about the mich case, I publicly asked Bitcasino why they pay such a spammer in their campaign, and my post was deleted.

Interesting, so yes plagiarism handled case by csse and rarely the user might get a second chance but since the user is actually supposed to receive some kind of punishment like signature ban that was in practice when some of the old members get caught for plagiarism in their early days. Anyway still this case is strange since the plagiarized post wasn't too old to convince that this mistake was done in the early days.

it seems like his/her post content isn't something you'd expect from an OG; well, unless he/she left this industry and went MIA for a decade and went back just for signature campaigns. Kinda sus imo.

A actual OG user from 2011, and the plagiarised content is just 3 years ago. oof.

@BitcoinGirl.Club, I remember the case well, because I personally commented on it, not only in the context of plagiarism, but also that the account was actually (and probably still is) owned by the same company that used it for promotional purposes. From my experience, I can say that I have had several cases where the user forgot to set the source, but instead of banning, such a post was deleted.

It would be interesting if @hosseinimr93 might have knowledge of how his report was handled at the time (I guess he reported it).

Have you tried reporting the post to the mods with a link to your post? This will draw attention and actually take some actions. This is how I did it back in the day when I had more time to report.
It has been reported. I did not report it before but after creating this post I reported with the link of this thread.

That's a one and half year old report.
This was the reason why I did not report it before creating this thread. It seemed to me that the result could be the same, may be it will be easily lost with the number of reports moderators receive. I am not encouraging everyone to do the same. This seemed a special case to me.

I'll be paying attention to what happens to this, OP.  Don't know about anyone else, but I appreciate you noticing this and making a thread about it, because it does indeed look like it should have resulted in a ban.
I had no intentional to-do this. I really do not look into others history to find scammers, spammer or observing forum users. This case was a random incident. I think I have explained it in another post. I was reading an off topic post, saw a humour from Jet Cash, responded to that and somehow this user caught my attention.

If he already received his punishment that it's fair but those plagiarized posts should be removed.

This case seems to be different. The reported user is 9645th member of the forum. I don’t get how come such an oldie buddy can plagiarized but everyone should get same treatment for the same rule breaking.
That is a bit odd if you ask me, though I didn't look at mich's posts vs. the sources they were apparently copy/pasted from.  I'm assuming from the original thread plus this one that they're legitimate instances of plagiarism, so I'm not exactly sure why he hasn't been banned.  There isn't usually a pattern of double standards for older members when it comes to plagiarism as far as I know.  I've seen Legendary members with positive trust get busted for it before.

That's a one and half year old report. I believe some of the users have already reported though the post itself is a report because as per as I know mod check the threads sometime.

Other day I discovered it and posted about it in here. My best guess no one read it and I did not see any response about it too although it was in someone else's unban appeal topic. I like the fact that we are very strict against plagiarism which we should be but how this slips out?
