Classic terrorist:
Someone or a member of a group who commit a terrorist attack.

Classic terrorist attack:
A violent attack on a target which is unrelated to the goal of the terrorists, usually a civilian target, for the purpose of creating fear or terror so that the people will force their government to negotiate with the terrorists. The terrorists then have the opportunity to get what they want.

Bombing a shopping mall due to disagreements about military actions would be terrorism. Bombing a military unit in response to military actions would be called a militant attack or similar.

Terrorist \Ter"ror*ist\, n. [F. terroriste.]
   1. One who governs by terrorism or intimidation;
specifically, an agent or partisan of the revolutionary
tribunal during the Reign of Terror in France. --Burke.
      [1913 Webster]

   2. One who commits terrorism[2].
      [PJC]

From WordNet (r) 3.0 (2006) [wn]:
  terrorist
n 1: a radical who employs terror as a political weapon; usually
organizes with other terrorists in small cells; often uses
religion as a cover for terrorist activities

America's version of terrorist:
Any militant group or individual that isn't part of the legitimate army of a United Nations recognized nation state, which does not support the interests of the United States.

America's version of militant attack
Any attack from a militant group or individual which is being funded by interests of the USA, such as rebels being supported from the outside to overthrow Gadaffi.

When we hear the word terrorist, we assume that it necessarily means to attack or being destructive. However, for me the definition of terrorist are people who gives fear to people just to impose what they believe in. It's like fighting for what you believe in.

Terrorists for me are from the word itself people who are trying to incite terror, fear and hatred hut kost importantly division to humanity. He does so by creating paranoia, sadness and hurt that people would begin to wuestion everythinng around them and that doubt is what they cultivate to further their plans

I think the meaning of a terrorist is an individual or a group that commits an act of terrorism to a person, a group or even to a government agency with a specific purpose.
acts of terrorism always have an unfavorable impact, even resulting in the loss of one or more lives, as well as severe material damage.

At the moment the media through their reporting have made it known that people who scream or shout Allahu Akbar before killing people are terrorists but i don't think this is accurate because in reality like the Vegas shoting which claimed a lot of lives, it should be regarded as terrorist offense but just because the perpetrator is not a Muslim, nobody seems to call him a terrorist.

Right. Sadly, it's a misconception popularized by media. By the definition itself, you don't have to belong to a certain group or religion. A person sowing terror and harm to others is a terrorist whether they're acting alone or in a group

Someone who uses violence, mayhem, and destruction — or the threat of those things — to coerce people or countries into taking a certain action is a terrorist. A terrorist may be motivated by religious fervor, politics, or just plain old-fashioned greed.

Terrorists mean enemies with evil threats to countries. Just like ISIS and other terrorists who want to take over the country we belong to. Many hate terrorists because they have fallen victim to good people. Just like the Christians who were beheaded by the ISISs, they did not care about it because they were too brutal to people they did not want to see. It would be nice if the governments were promptly concerned about the problem of suppressing terrorists who were destroying their country.
