In my opinion blockchain is SUPER-appliable to the medicine sphere in various cases:
1) It can help us to store doctor's portfolio safely and to kick out suspicious ones
2) It may help us to keep info about diseases and injuries and so on without a chance to put something fake inside

Give me your opinion about… Can the blockchain be applicable for the medical sector? Explain your pros and cons please. Thank you.

First of all, blockchain is a data system, so if you want to apply it in the field of medicine, you have to determine that its effect is to store data and operate medical services with care. digit number. From the effect of it, you can develop a project according to your ideas.

I share your view that cannabis really helps to heal even the sick. But, as you rightly pointed out. Look on the Internet, unfortunately, not everywhere it is legal. Probably will be able to buy online.

Blockchain great for accounting of any data. So any sphere where accounting of data is required could adopt blockchain technology. I'm talking not about huge number of unless ICOs in medicine, I'm talking only about data storage and accounting

The more transparency in modern day medicine the better and I believe the blockchain can provide that.

Built-in theme. I have a question on this topic too.  My father is ill. He's got Alzheimer's. This is a serious violation of mental activity. Long time ago, we noticed , that cannabis slows the sickness and has the healing power on disease. But not everywhere you can buy. Now we live in another place where it is not legalized. It was interesting to hear your opinion as safely possible anywhere to get cannabis for treatment. Or should not even touch this topic?

Give me your opinion about… Can the blockchain be applicable for the medical sector? Explain your pros and cons please. Thank you.

I think you can apply blockchain technology in the information about medicines and practices and its effectiveness with few actual documentations of the people who take it or undergo with a certain treatment without the need of disclosing names just name of the hospital or place and then if the doctor wants to know more information then he can just directly contact the hospital where the medicine is actually use or the treatment is performed. This way, doctors will have an idea if a particular sickness or disease has some suggested medicines if they don't have experience with it before.

In my own opinion, the blockchain is a public legerr that ensures nothing is hidden in other to aid transparency. However, there are some things that are better kept private and one of them is medical records in other keep human decency and sanity if the medical records of an individual becomes if public knowledge, then we might have a case of mass suicide on our hands.

Area I see the blockchain working in the medical sector is on drugs produced where each and everyone of those drugs have been given a serial number and the moment I buy one or before I purchase it, I can go to the blockchain to check if its an original or a counterfeit product that will go along way in reducing the amount of counterfeits drugs in the market.

It can definitely be used in the medical realm but so far no good ideas have come forward (PTOY included) that are realistic and provide a true benefit.  When something comes out that is directly affiliated with a reputable hospital, we'll know it.

It can apply to medical records since Blockchain is decentralized and that can help us solving problem that we're facing in this sector. Critical information is not accessible when it is needed most which sometime is costing lives. I think with Blockchain we can make this info accessible anytime and anywhere.

Yes cryptocurrency can be applied to the health care sector, more than medicine if we understand it as the heal of diseases. In the health care sector cryptography and signature have a lot of advantages to record the history of patients and respect their privacy. Health conditions are extremely sensitive data that can be misuse to third parties and security in digital communication is essential.
There is also other applications of cryptocurrencies to the health sector: issuing ICOs can be a way of getting fund for research and develop projects that do not reach conventional fundraising.

This idea has been brought to the general public several times and everytime it is just another scam attempt.
If not scam, another failed ICO that couldn't change shit.

I believe classical medicine in order to work properly there must be physical contact between the patient and the physician. There cannot be any sort of "telemedicine" for treatment - because treatment is not just prescribing drugs but also supportive care and the words of the physician which have a great deal of importance to the patient. Any app based treatment is also of no use and it is just a vaporware.

Touche. You just described my point in simple words.Although there are still ways to achieve the doctor patient relationship only on the blockchain but that would take ages to come into practice.
In blockchain technology there has been attempts to use it for medical records - I dont know how far that is possible and I dont like the idea at all.
Idea seems good but it is not feasible.

The concept of blockchain can be applied to any sector, well theoretically. In terms of their practical acceptance, not many would rely on a technology to an extent where no third party that is a human is  involved.Otherwise depends on the sub-section of medical you're targeting.I think I explained Pros and Cons in one sentence.

Yes it can be use for the medical sector when it comes to the recording purposes. There's a lot of companies that are starting to adopt blockchain like the banking sector and in medical sector it's just the same when it comes to keeping your records you can apply blockchain technology with it. And every information which is needed for viewing can be seen immediately if someone wants to have an access about ones history or information.

I believe a blockchain based system can become a very beneficial addition to the medical industry if they can use it efficiently. However I don't think making a proper currency for it would be that useful at all. Another concern I would have is the privacy of the patiënts. A public blockchain with all the information would never be implemented, since it would be a violation of the privacy of the patiënts.

In my opinion healthcare is a field which could benefit from blockchain technology.
Imagine you have all your history stored in a shared ledger, where doctors can access using your ID number. They could see if you have any allergy, which is your blood type, etc.

Nonetheless, it could have also some bad repercussions, mainly due to privacy issues. For example, insurance companies could inspect your health before issuing a policy.

You could also take a look to the following projects:
https://dentacoin.com/: blockchain used for dental treatments
https://robomed.io/: smart contracts used to pay for medical treatments
