Looks like you guys are restricting US IPs, any plans to change that?

you can use a VPN or a proxy to avoid getting banned based on your IP
not sure about withdrawals, though, but I don't see any TOS lines about not allowing US gamblers
sadly, there are many casinos that do not allow US customers to play
Primedice,for example,don't allow USA and Australia IP's

If The Us residents are not allowed to play in the casino then I am sure that the withdrawal to them will also be not allowed but as they are doing in bitcoin which is anonymous so any person who will use any proxy will easily withdraw their bitcoins as with bitcoin no one know the location of other.

the problem is that if US players are not allowed to play, when you withdraw any substantial amount of money
they could ask you for KYC verification-you are, basically, done then
won't get any money and they would be right to do so
but I can't find in their TOS that the US citizens are not allowed to play, lets wait for admin or site representative to comment on this
When I suggest to one of my friend about this site then he recalled me about the issue that the site is not showing but only a page which is saying that sorry the US citizens are not allowed to play on this site. So it means that US citizens are not allowed.

Bitcoin has become nearly unusable yesterday when it hit over 200000 unconfirmed transactions.

I suggest Megadice considers an altcoin like ETH or LTC as soon as the Lightning network is enabled.
Both ETH and LTC have faster TX and can be traded for fiat currency.

Yes pretty much everybody is angry in this situation because not every BTC gambling website wants to go thru major re-coding to add another alt-coin. And maybe sites will start losing gamblers to sites which have more currencies other than BTC.

I think most people usually keep their BTC in cold storage, send it to the gambling sites to gamble for a few hours and withdraw at the end of the day.

But with these huge fees many will stop completely using BTC to gamble and use alts.

either that or just get rid of the BU fuckwits spamming the network, because they aren't getting their way.
any cryptocurrency is vulnerable to this attack.

although i will admit, for that brief period where you could send a node message and take out a BU node - very good fun.

Where does it say the domain was purchased for $12 million

On 18 July 2013, Erik Voorhees announced that SatoshiDice had been sold for 126,315 BTC, or US $12.4 million at the time of the announcement.

I have to admit, from Alexa Global Rank 315,000 to 836,000 = -170% down within 2 months, is indeed a good result for a $12 million purchased domain!

Where does it say the domain was purchased for $12 million?

Also are you talking about the domain being sold this year or when Erik sold it a few years back? I forgot what the sum was back then, but it was somewhere around the same amount however it was in BTC and BTC was lower back then.

So it was a good investment for him I guess.
I not saw anywhere on this thread tat owner is claiming that he have bought the domain at $12 Million. that person is saying about this amount but he have not presented any proof where it is stated by the buyer or seller that they are dealing for that domain at $12 Million.

That's a great advice by you. I will suggest dogecoin too. All of this is possible with a good dev team. As it will take alot of time and effort to fix bugs.

Got my withdrawal and its confirmed only 30 minutes. Thanks.
Congrats on your Victory and withdrawal. Recently in the campaign thread of the concern gambling website it's been paused for a while. So I believe the profiting of the gambling websites have decreased. I believe an effective promotion is a must to make a better profiting.
I saw their signature campaign thread is now running without any issue. From the posts I got that there was a little confusion because of the delay of the payment. But now everything is running better.
They are running an effective campaign just like other bigger casinos. I think they want to stand in a competition to all other bigger casino.
I am the member of the megadice campaign and everything is going well. Megadice is a good casino and they are running their campaign effectively.

Bitcoin is very well as they are already using it for their site. But still along with that I will suggest the casino to use altcoin for their site to make it available for more communities. For that step I will suggest Megadice to start the use of shapeshift.

typed megadice.com into browser address bar, it converted to https://www.megadice.com/?secret=3fe92be70e83a9a558c5afd36337deb8#DoNotShareThisURL and a completely blank page. LOL.

Check your browser, it is working fine on my browser. Once you able to open it, dont share the link again as it is your secret url to access your account.

Sometimes it doesn't work for me either. The site has many outages like the original Satoshidice had. Sometimes using a different browser with a new cache works, sometimes it still gets stuck on that page.

No idea why its taking so long to fix this bug.

As the bitcoin network is working slower and slower due to constant spam attacks and we sometimes need to wait hours to see our transaction confirmed.

Do you have any plant to introduce 0-confirmation deposits?

It should work like this: you will check out confidence level of transactions and every deposit with standard network fee will be credited within 1 minute.
I know other dice sites have  this system implemented. Is this doable?

The main reason why most bitcoin casinos don't like instant deposits is because its very easy to cheat by double spend.

Someone can send a legit BTC deposit with a min fee of 100Sats/byte, then they can bet immediately and if they lose they can create another transaction with a miner fee of 500Sats/byte and the first transaction won't be valid.
I don't think that it is easy to cheat that system.

I know that YoloDice has instant deposit system based on transaction confidence level and as Ethan said (admin of YoloDice) that among thousands deposits there was maybe 1 or 2 attempts to cheat that system.
Of course, this method will be enabled only for deposits less than 0.2 or 0.1 BTC, whatever amount MegaDice will find suitable to minimize potential exploits. Most users are not depositing more BTC anyway.
