I know why no one is buying this coin. It is cause everyone now just pumps and dumps POS coins. I hope the devs keep promoting this coin and improving it. New CPU algorithms are amazing.

It sounds like anonymous is a key feature. Is there anyway that could be built into this coin? is this coin anonymous?

I just bought all of the 1 liteoshi orders. Anyone want to sell me some more?

https://bittrex.com/Market/?MarketName=LTC-MEG

The first post makes this coin sound amazing. Why has no one heard of it before?

The market is dying on this one  Sad Any plans for future development?

The market is a bit stalled, but I don't think it's dying. We're coming to AllCrypt as well, which should help to spread out all of these orders and allow a bit more liquidity in the market.

There are some plans for development of the coin itself, but nothing immediate. Doing another fork so soon would require too many services to need updated. There is a faucet and new website in the works as well that should be done later this week

OK, thanks for the answer

May have nothing! I'm full blown junkie now! I just ordered in 12 boxes of the damn things (a few were for my mother) but I've now resorted to having a shelf dedicated to the bloody things.

ON TOPIC yes and in a sense I can't say that I blame them. I rented CPU power to mine a small fortune of MEG and it wasn't free... but then again it wasn't crazy either and a cost I could shoulder or just straight out loose on and not be the end of the world. You'd think that anyone who took the effort to even bother would at least want to get the most out of their efforts. Thats what really kills me, one satoshi higher would double the return but nooOOooo, some jackass(es) dumps 3 BTCs the second it hits an exchange.

I will fully support and contribute funding to any project that will let my digitally reach across the globe and slap a sucka in the face.

12 boxes?  yes this could potentially become a major issue in your life where you will end up mining and trading just to supply that addiction.  They do taste a lot nicer than BTC though.

It constantly amazes me that people want to mine, use electric then sell at a stupidly low price.  Never made sense to me selling so cheap and ruining everything but I guess I take a bit of time thinking before I make my decisions unlike most it would seem.

How about a "slap" coin where you can digitally pay people in other country's to hunt down your desired nemesis/enemies/victims and slap them senseless?  Could have legal ramifications but that can be sorted at the court case.  Donations for legal representation greatly accepted.

Looks like more interest and positive attitudes are turning up on this thread, good to see and hope the dev doesn't give up like so many on this forum.  Devs who waste everyone's time are two a penny, those types just need to go.

Also, we now have an LTC market on bittrex and the OP has been updated to point to it due to the lack of granularity of 1 satoshi

And it is now at 0.00000001 LTC. So much for granularity  Grin

Eh, there is a buy order for 1 latoshi, but people aren't actually dumping at it, so there is money to be made by investing in it

Money to be made how? Buying on 1 latoshi and dumping and 1 latoshi? =)))

Also goatcoin with no lambo pics makes no sense :0

Fork is now in effect  Cool

Yep, expect reduced mining payouts and thus less supply and coins being sold, so therefore price increase Smiley

The megcoin give away is really starting to pickup, and there is actually a buy order that is more than a handful of pocket change. This fork really seems to be building some excitement Smiley And all services that I know of have upgraded and will be on the right fork

One small bit about transaction fees was forgotten to be mentioned. If you send funds to yourself (input address same as output address) then the 0.5% transaction fee is not applied. In this way, if you only have a single large input for an address, you can send small amounts of funds without having to pay transaction fees across the full input when you get change back from it
