the github one is a pirated copy anyway with a value added backdoor. just because someone uploaded it to github doesnt make it free

johny1976 the owner/maker of the script is still selling it here at bitcointalk

If you can prove the script is pirated, that is a different story.

Yes, this was established previously that the feline script was ripped from johny.

I'm far from being even remotely close to being a scammer and I'll be damned if some skid tries to sell me a free script, I wouldn't pay for it either.

The issue I have is he said he would pay when he received the script.  He received the script and didn't pay.

If there was something wrong with the script he should have opened a scam accusation.

It's like saying to someone "I'll give you $10 to give me directions to this place I've heard of." then getting the directions and saying "Oh I know that place, I don't need directions".

I believe he posted about it on the thread he was auctioning it on and then this thread was made by the other guy.

A better example would be ordering a brand new yacht and getting a used rowboat instead.

How does this change situation. I am not allowed to sell scripts that are available for free?

Only mistake i made is not to force this Mofo to send btc before he recives script

No, you are not that is called scamming. In no language is it okay to sell other peoples work as your own. Especially if they offer their code for free.

Not really...  Undecided

You can take something that is free, and sell it as a VAR (Value Added Reseller).  That VAR can be as complicated as personally walking you step by step through the script, or as simple as making the buyer aware the script exists.

This isn't what he did though. He took someone else's script, deleted the github link and tried selling it. If he modified it then I could understand selling it but he didn't do anything of the sort. Unfortunately for him it was a very public script offered here on the forum.

He didn't make anyone aware it was a publicly free script until he was busted.

I'm far from being even remotely close to being a scammer and I'll be damned if some skid tries to sell me a free script, I wouldn't pay for it either.

i will send you mny instantly after recieving script

You posted you would send the money INSTANTLY after receiving the script.

You did not - you lied.

You should have paid the money you agreed to.  If the script did not work, you should have opened a scam accusation against the seller.  Right now you have both your money and a script you can freely modify and use.

I think you both, as well as everyone else on this thread are wasting far too much energy over 0.01.   It looks like prince didn't get what was promised and chose not to pay.

It is about morals. Only a piece of shit would take someone else's work and try to sell it as their own. It is perfectly legal to sell open sourced software, that doesn't make it right.

I think this whole issue have become into a drama, seller saying buyer never pay for the dice script, and buyer saying seller send him a script with malware with hack code.

Who is telling the truth now Huh
keep aside hack and malware part a proof which all here can understand is its  a free script for which he needs mny.you can check this thing urself.
if u think seller is inocent tell him to show demo of his script.he has posted that' demo via pm 'which was asked and he never replies to that thing (3 persons in total asked for it but no reply to anyone) and says i will send you script and u pay me immediately.
any more clearer proof??

didnt you read? its obviously copied from here https://github.com/felinegambler/CryptoDice

the OP is unfamiliar with coding and/or git and changed the installation instructions by just removing git clone while keeping everything else verbatim. undeniably copied

CryptoDice

1) install git (ubuntu: sudo apt-get install git)(fedora/redhat: sudo yum install git)
2) Change to a directory of your choice and run the command
3) Change to the inc/ directory and change the permissions to 777 (chmod 777 *)
4) Run the script from your prefered web browser and follow the installation instructions on screen
5) Once completed remove the install directory for security reasons
6) You now have access to http://your-server/dice/admin (or wherever you put the dice script)
7) Finally, Deposit your funds using the receiving address on the wallet tab in the admin menu

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-dice-script-1674423
this is the thread.everyone identified his scam.he blackmailed me stating will give red trust and will abuse if i dont pay him and he is doing that only.check what everyone is saying in that thread.all saying the same thing 'forcing to pay for a free script'

Judging from that thread and his instructions he is indeed selling a free script that is open sourced on this forum already. Not only does his instructions include the scripts name but even how to install it.

It is a good thing you didn't pay him.
joel_jantsen please take your time to read and make things clear before giving red trust for no reason.scammer opened thread for blackmailing purpose and now is misguiding and using u people to take mny for nthing.remove red trust u added in my profile and add it in this scammers profile
