Basically the campaign owners earn from referral to their website. Some are paying for the campaigns to promote their website services.

You will have to become a member (~2 more months) before you earn anything meaningful from signature campaigns.

That depends on your definition of meaningful and how many posts you'd make in a period of time.

I hear long time members talk about selling there signature, just wondering what that is??? sorry if I am becoming a pain for all the questions.
You get paid to advertise another site in your adspace area.

If you want, you can put whatever else you want too.

signature campaign is a cheaper way for advertisers to advertise their stuff on this forum by paying members to use their ad in their signature place.
if you look directly below your post (post 1) you see an ad with higher price look here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/advertise-on-this-forum-round-136-838764 it is around 0.5 for 7 days which is much higher than what they pay for sig.camp.

Once you get a lot of activity on forums you can sell your signature to people for small amount. You can see a lot of members do it and you can find out more about it in the Marketplace section, Selling services.

A great way to earn some coins, especially if you don't have money to invest but would like to hold some BTC.

There are campaigns that pay you to use their signature while you post on the forum. xD The older your account, the more they pay you.

Not necessarily older; you have to have made posts as well. If your account has been in existence for two years, but you've only posted 35 times, your activity would be 35; thus, your status would still be Newbie.  Cool

Very true.  If you look up activity it explains how this forum calculates it.  It's a mix of time and posts.   You cannot spam your way to high account is nice part, but it makes it a slow venture to high activity.

You find a company you trust and they pay you or trade something.  I went for trade in my choice i went for a silver wallet as I wanted one.  I provide the service of using their signature and they provide a silver wallet.   Most are for BTC, but i found the silverwallet one to be to my liking Smiley
