@Asuspawer09, you can't bump a topic on the Bounties (Altcoins) board by posting a new reply anymore.
Theymos introduced new changes on how bumping topics works on some boards in order to reduce spam/abuse.

How do you bump a message?
there is a bump button at the top right corner. If you see it, you can click it when needed.

You can read more about bumping changes hete:

Posts above are correct and I don't want to add more repeat what they have answered since they answered it already. The forum does not support mentioning names like on facebook for example unless the person you mentioned do it themselves to get notification from their names being mentioned. Anyway, as far as I know, there is a notification for threads if they decide to get notified when someone posted/replied to your thread and none for names being mentioned that is why they created those notification bot.

How do you bump a message?

Just post a new message to bump or reply ''bump'' to the thread if there is a new reply it will be placed in the top of the threads in the section.

In addition to that. Bumps are limited to once per day (24 hours), and old bumps should be deleted as it serve no particular use.

It's better to send message to participants instead of mentioning, the 'mention bot' users are few compared to registered members so I doubt the mentioned participants would be using it anyway.

lol.  will check. thanks

If you already mention them and no response much better to ignore them and edit your list and add something like "Send me your wallet address and we will wait until the end of the campaign(No address/No pay)

That's it. You don't need to worry it's their fault for not giving their wallet address to send the payment.

Remembered we are on the crisis so, (Maybe they are affected with covid19 that might cause of not responding about his wallet address) it will be much better if you just ignore and wait for them to send their own wallet address alone. If not then forget them.

@EquityAlert, after reading HCP's reply, I got curious and checked their profiles. None of them got banned and they were active recently.
I believe they missed your reply because your thread is on the second page already.
I bumped it for you, hope it helps  Smiley

TBH (and somewhat cynical)... chances are that a bunch of them have been banned for plagiarism and/or spamming Roll Eyes

Either that, or they have realised that Bitcointalk is not the "get rich quick" utopia that a lot of newbies seem to think it is and have simply not come back. Have you checked their profiles for the "last active" date? If that date isn't fairly recent, chances are they will not be claiming anything. Tongue

The problem with bounty hunters and airdrop participants is that they post their applications and never visit the thread again to check for updates.
You did the right thing by mentioning their names in your thread. Thefe is nothing more you can do (imo) but next time make sure all participants provide their addresses before accepting them.

I tried that bot to poke a few members but they don't seem to be members of the bot so poking didn't work.

Please note that none of your airdrop participants will be notified if they do not subscribe to either of the two tools mentioned by other users above. Have you tried dropping them a private message instead? It's more laborious but they will get notified for sure.

There is also another notifier made by piggy but I think it does not work anymore  Huh

Nope. IIRC, Loycev's and giammangiato's were created because piggy's stopped working.

If those users use the search option, either in forum or using google, for posts where they were mentioned, they will surely find your post.
They will not get notified if they are mentioned unless they build a notification bot like the one made by Piggy (not active anymore) or the recent one made by LoyceV (active) .
Better to keep updating the thread for a certain period until everybody get updated.

There is no built in feature in bitcointalk that let users notify when someone mentioned them in the community.

However, you can use the bot made by @giammangiato. So far this is the most realtime notification I have ever used in this community.

SMF doesn't have built in mention system, howevee, there's some script or bot which you can use to mention other users in the forum. I didn't use this one though after Piggy's notification bot was inactive.

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to notify users when their name is used in a post. I have several users that participated in my airdrop but never gave me a wallet address. I have mentioned their names repeatedly but have gotten no responses, does it notify them is I use an @ or # sign of any kind?
