Anyway perhaps this post can at least earn something: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.30312040

Gave you one.

Dear Krishnaverma,

Thanks for this very kind gesture - I was due to be member yesterday, but unfortunately I wasn't aware of the new merit system until that point! I have tried using my (quite limited) knowledge to write tutorials that will help the community - I even used pictures... but so far nobody is really reading them. I wonder if some might be interesting to you?

You are writing awesome posts and got merits from other members. I gave one to you as well.

Rest of the applicants need to improve. I will give 2-3 more in this giveaway and close this.

Can we just do it in raffle draw? I mean everyone can apply for it, your rules, then just print the name on the list and pick lucky ten to 3o winners.... Easy huh?
Just a suggestion, but don't mind me if you think my suggestion is nonsense in your way....

How to Make Your Own Custom Excel Coin Tracker using Coinmarket Cap APIs
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.30295695

"I'm hoping this might be useful to someone who's a bit old-school like myself. I know there's Blockfolio and all that jazz, but I'm a bit weird in that I don't like using phone apps that much (get way too addicted) - so I like to manage my portfolio and handle my crypto business on a dedicated laptop. I also manage a portfolio for my dad and my father in law too, so I needed a solution where I could track totals for a number of different people - and I couldn't find an app that has this feature out of the box. It also opens up the possibilities of making all kinds of cool custom graphs etc. if you have the know-how.

Spiel over: so you want to be able to import live crypto price data into an excel spreadsheet? It's actually pretty simple. Here are the steps:"

Social Media Analysis for Hunting Good ICOs & Projects [Tutorial]

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.30333360

"First things first, I'm not endorsing a get-rich quick technique here or some kind of magic technique for pinpointing 5, 10 or 100x ICOs here. The technique I'm going to quickly detail below is ONE of many different approaches I like to take when I'm doing my due diligence on prospective ICOs (which includes, obviously, reading the whitepaper, checking out the team, their previous projects, their network, the net worth of the industry, looking at the use case, yada yada yada...). However, I do think this is a useful means of measuring the 'hype' and buzz surrounding an upcoming project, which I think can - loosely - be taken as an indicator of how many people are going to be excited about participating, and potentially, getting hold of the token on exchanges etc. down the line (although it could also just indicate that they are running a MASSIVE bounty campaign, so DYOR too!). The useful thing here is that you get a quantitative result, which can be useful when making cross-project comparisons... so if you are very torn between investing in two different opportunities, something like this could help tip the scale."

ICO Due Dilligence Checklist and Resources
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.30340049

"With the huge boom in number of ICOs and projects in the pipeline, it's becoming increasingly hard to discriminate between good projects and ones that will just go up in smoke. The key difference between investors that consistently back ICOs that gain, and those that end up with a patchier hit rate, I think, comes down to how much time they spend doing due dilligence, and how rigorous they are with it. To help anyone who is into ICO hunting and investing, I thought it might be worthwhile to list some of the questions I ask myself when I am researching - and some of the procedures I go through. I'd also be very grateful if anyone else could share their own tips - as I am by no means an expert, and I always like to be learning new things."

Hello krishnaverma,
I would like to participate in this great idea. I try to educate less experienced users in the crypto-world, you can see it from my posts.
I try to accent that the bitcoin market is not some "black magic", this market follows the financial rules just like any other phenomenon involving money.
One of my posts explaining this is here:

It's a pleasure to join the bitcointalk community.

a good post don't mean it's a long post, don't you know. why do you know that no one read it?

You're maybe right, but what he meant was, as constructive as possible. Simple or short but it has all the elements needed to be one.

He has a point, it has so many replies that no one will notice each and every response there.

Great opportunity mate. This support and information will excite all bitcointalk forum members to share most informative.rich and quality post to the forum members in resultant every one will get good info about crypto world and will also take some good benefits through useful knowledge.

I think this could only be helpful to some extent. He's offering help that's good, but what we wanted was for them to post into the threads that really matters, or maybe just let them read to those sections that deserves attention.

The merit system's goal is not just to make the members strive to improve in their skills in making constructive posts but also have prior knowledge to what really is the main thing about this forum.

What a generous offer, im definitely finding that earning merits is a struggle, especially with so much topics being answered multiple times by so many people. I feel like its the OP starters and the first page repliers that gobble up most of it.

Anyway perhaps this post can at least earn something: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.30312040
