How to get Merit??
I'm newbe so give me an explanation please

what should I do to get Merit?
Help me master bitcoiner

Make constructive/helpful posts, and there will be a chance that a user will reward you with a random amount of merit for it. There are no rules set in stone for it, i guess you could say it is a bit random.

Alternatively if you think your posts are very constructive/high quality, you could ask a user like TMAN to merit you, as he is currently doing here. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/tmans-level-up-challenge-updated-2825523
thanks for your information master

I gotta say i have gotten over my initial reaction to this new merit system..I DO see a small hiccup in one of the objectives though. In an attempt to slow the rise of the spam posts, the top 20 threads or so(unpinned) are all about the Merit system...go figure.
This has to do with the desire of many people to participate to know better merit. I also feel that there are too many threads, even in the local section. But this is a form of active participate user, even they hope to get merit because in this meta thread is a lot of active participate.

Yep - and lots of duplicate threads that could be merged - like this one of mine.

I have been awarded enough merit to rank up(i'm appreciative of that) but, i have seen far too many posters require that you 'post only in btc' or 'i would suggest you learn english'.
I don't think that is what the merit system was meant for.

Well that's because there's dozens of threads complaining about the system and then people making articulate points as to why they're wrong (or at least very biased). Give it a few days and the shock will have calmed down and people will get over it and accept that if they want to get any where now then they're going to have to start making decent contributions instead of just whining about something that isn't going to change any time soon.
