That word is extremely uncommon, and I've only seen it maybe once on this board.  Didn't Gleb Gamow make it a favorite of his to use?  I honestly can't recall, but I think I remember him writing it in a rant somewhere.  I know OP is an alt account.  The only thing I'm not sure of is whether it's an alt of cryptohunter alone or perhaps other personalities as well.

It's not because someone has a signature that they're automatically spamming.
Sure, you might see a lot of similar threads in the Meta board, but the ones that are somewhat good are usually the only ones that receive any merit.

We already have 2 boards where signatures are not displayed, Serious Discussion & Ivory Tower.
Should that rule be expanded to the Meta board? I don't know, I don't see a real need for it personally, but I also wouldn't mind if they did remove signatures from Meta.

You can still attract all the sig spamming dregs to pump the boards traffic and key words because the only a handful of people post on meta, and their words list are mostly merit, trust, cryptohunter, I want to spam at higher rates as fast as possible, I kiss ass for merits, whistle blowers are scammers and untrustworthy. The other boards will remain open to their kind and these bunch of meta infesting scumbags will have to spam those other boards for their btc dust so will be loath to spend time here posting for free. They will still need to pop up here to blather on their observably incorrect garbage to try and maintain the status quo where a bunch of low functioning and observably untrustworthy scum deserve to be paid to post at the highest rates. However now they will at least need to expend effort posting all over the board for their dust.
