Philippines would be the best country I've been travel, Filipino's are so hospitable and funny and their culture are so beautiful and people there are son kind.
This one confuses me, the topic states the best country that you've been traveled, yet from what I see on your other posts you are good on Philippines national language in written form. Hmmm! sounds dizzy!

I'm a half a filipino that means I can also speak on their languages that's why, and I also have only 2 posts on Philippines section. Well I'm not asking for merits I just want to share my insights about merit system and I hope we will have a better community in the future looking forward for that. No you should learn to read more and learn how to use Search function before going to post. Don't bother about Merits, they will come eventually when you're learning to post constructively and helping other members in the forum. Most importantly you need to learn English before going to post in Meta. This is rubbish. BTW welcome to the forum

Either merit is stupid or maybe your kind of posts are stupid so you only got 1 merit so far. Please if you are having trouble to get merits, see some members who got a lot of merits and compare your post to theirs

It is what you notice, not the actual statistics. You better see some threads of statistic by some members in the meta board and see how much merits given to the lower rank account. You can see mine, or a thread made by DdmrDdmr. If you and some low ranked members doesnt get merits, doesnt mean other high quality low rank members doesnt get it too.

For one Merit shouldn't be the motivation behind any post you write. If it is then you are here to earn money and nothing more; that's 99% of the people that complain about it.
Blue= I'm sorry how can you not be aware that there is an expectation of quality when you post. Just to be clear quality can be a joke, a question, a comment, an observation, a theory or one of a 100 other forms. Hopefully now that you are aware of that fact you can come up with a quality post.
Red= Yeah I've seen a ton of quality posts that don't earn merit to. That's how life goes. There are some sections where less merit flows as people there don't see the value in the system and that's fine; it may also be that no one else thinks the posts deserve merit. The trend I'm seeing more and more on this forum is now people want recognition or reward for every little thing they do. If you think over time you may become a quality poster take note of these posts and go back to merit them when you can.
To true, early on I tried to only merit lower ranks then I decided that was a shit way of doing things. Now I just Merit people as fast as I earn it, and it's fair game who gets them.
Yes I'm guilty for non quality post for my last posts maybe because I'm a newbie and I'm not aware that members should be post good stuffs but my concern is I saw some quality posts here in forum that didn't get merits that's why.

That is so not true. I merit low ranked members a lot(This has been discussed to hell and back, and people have said that finding merit worthy posts are sometimes hard, and some people have really high level of standards. So you have two options: Post in order please people, or just make decent quality posts, you'll eventually get noticed(unless you post in the spamfest sections,then you're on your own buddy). And also, know this, you're not going to get ranked up in a few days, it'll take months if not years, that's the original purpose, to set a delay, so that you can stay here for long.

That's not true at all. What is more likely the case is that higher-ranked members tend to make the much better posts. There are thousands upon thousands of lower-ranked members here making very low quality posts so of course those ones aren't going to get any merit. You, for example, haven't made any posts worth meriting in my opinion. I personally would much rather give merit to lower ranked users like you than higher ones because most higher ranks don't even need merit. Once you're a Hero or Legendary member there's not really much benefit to merit to be honest. I would much rather reward newbies for great posts than anyone else, but if a Hero or Legendary makes an exemplary post then I'm not not going to give them merit. They should be rewarded. Anyone should that is making great contributions. You don't even need to be a bitcoin expert either. I'm certainly not and I gained the vast majority of my merits from making suggestions in Meta that others have deemed worthwhile.
Does Merit really help the community or greed people use it to have more profit, well in my opinion Merit system is good but while the days, months passed by I think some members don't want to give their merit for free cause they were selling it. I hope their will be new implemented rules that really help the forum and not use as advantaged to have more profits and fair for all.
Some members might not in fact give you any merit because they're greedy and want to sell or give it to their alts, but there are many more times that amount who love to give it away to random people for great posts. Make great posts that stand out from the rest and I'm sure you'll get it.
I'm not against in Merit system but I think there are better solution to reduced non quality posters here in this forum, and I was wondering if someone here will be a legendary someday that starts in newbie member, getting 1000 merits would be eternity.
Better solutions such as? I earned 500 merit in a matter of months and ranked up from Hero to Legendary in the process. If I created a new account from scratch I'd be able to do the same. Why are you people complaining that you now actually have to put effort in and write constructive posts here? It's like your manager at the office telling you to actually do some decent work instead of the shoddy and sub par job you've been doing by putting the minimal amount of effort in possible and you then complaining about that. You're the exact sort of user that merit system was put in place as to stop people like you from farming accounts by contributing little to nothing here. You came to this forum likely because somebody told you you could easily earn here and because you very likely know little to nothing about bitcoin headed straight to off topic to post crap in there:

As a child were you ever told to worry about yourself and not others? maybe take a look at yourself and improve your posting quality, until that happens you have no idea what a quality post amounts to.

If you believed that man came from a monkey evolution basically you also claim that you're an animal and not a human in other point if man is the evolution of monkey why there are monkeys today they're shouldn't exist now due of evolution is an organism that have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the earth, so monkeys should not exists today.

A big YES for both. Merit System already change this forum for good because it kills the spirit of those members who serve as as the cancer here — the shiity posteres. Searching for result? Then look around the forum, it's more peaceful now compare before. Well, I didn't expect you to realize this since you're new here but believe me it's true (welcome to the forum by the way). But unfortunate to say, opportunists still find a gateway to avoid this system. Desperate low rank users tend to buy merits from several greedy high rank members, this is the reality but we can't easily provide actions upon this because it happens in a secret manner. So if you found someone guilty of doing this stuff then you should report him to the mods, that l's the least thing you can do

So far earned 261 merit. Do you think any of them were bought? It's not only me, there are number of members who are earning legitimate merits. Thing is, there are no valid complain about merit anymore. I suggest you to change your views and be a community person, perhaps you need to work for your self development.
