Naka watch na tong thread na to saken ngayon, bigla akong naging interesado tuloy sa pagbili ng smartbrand watch. Sa katulad kong my full time job, napakalaking tulong kung may notif na mababasa sa smart watch dahil lagi nating suot ito. Hindi ko lang akalain na pwede palang maging kapaki pakinabang tong device na to lalo na dito sa pagiging active natin dito sa btt forum.

I bought this smartband to monitor my exercises/workout and stuff. I didn't expect that the feature it has would really get this far. I admire your mind, man. You're a genius, you immediately thought about this thing. I was planning to switch brand soon if I could find a better smartband than Mi Band 4 with an affordable price.
Anyway, here's the picture of me wearing it with my personal sticker down below @fillippone :
I was trying to get a capture of it with the moon but my camera can't take a decent one, and it is very hard to take a picture standing upright lol.
Funny thing is that am not a typical user who receive tons of merit but I love to participate in a certain discussion. Now I'll be notified if I'm away at my phone or doing something, so thank you with this great idea once again.

I almost forgot that I still have this smartband left in my drawer . Thank you for bringing this up @fillippone, and translating the thread @Baofeng so that I/we can understand better. I'm a fan pa naman ng techy stuff.
I'm still waiting pa till ma-fully charge para ma-i-set up or ma-configure ko na rin. One down side I found on this, since para maka-receive ng notification from telegram, your phone connected to the device should've an internet remain open, so medyo redundant lang to look but it is fun though specially if you aren't the type of guy na always nakatutok sa phone. And it is impossible para sa band to install telegram but if the device is just capable of installing such thing for notificafion alone, it will be so much fun lol.
One more thing to add, doon sa Do Not Disturb option, AFAIK, you can set it up on the band itself, the thing is, it doesn't have any specified time on when you want to have it off, apparently it is just on/off only. But at least seperated siya from the phone itself.

Ang tanging limitasyon ay ang pantasya. Karaniwan ang smartwatch ay may kakayahang makatanggap ng bawat posibleng pag-abiso ng teksto mula sa telepono. Kaya maaari kang ma-notify ng halos lahat!
Tandaan na napansin ko ang pagkakaroon ng abiso sa karaniwang oras ng screen ay nabawasan, at mabilis kang sumulyap sa screen, sa halip na makipagtalo sa telepono.

Medyo makulit ang aking isipan sa mga oras na ito dahil sa ideyang pinost mo Baofeng galing kay filippone. Kung ang merit ay maaaring mainotify gamit telegram, baka naman maaaring manotify din kung may bagong campaign na lalabas, alam nyo na, minsan fruit of labor din kapag nakakasali sa magandang campaign, and if mabilis ka, mataas ang chance mong matanggap at opportunity ang wrist band na ito. Pero mas mahalaga parin na pag tuunan natin ng pansin ang pagbabahagi ng makabuluhang post at karagdagang advantage nalang kung gagawin man natin yung naisip ko in the future. Well, kung manonotify man tayo sa bawat merits na ating makukuha, sa tingin ko yun ay isang mabisang fuel na din sa atin para mag post pa ng magandang contents at karagdagan, nakakatuwa kapag nadaragdaragan ang merits natin what more kung may notification ba ito diba.

Para sa iba hindi nila gusto kasi napakaimpraktikal nga naman pero the post has no harm and hindi ipinipilit sa mga users. Like mostly said Optional pero para sakin ayos din to. It will be a cool alarm clock for merits that you have received and notifyer ng mga messages. Sa ibang tao, useful din siya since may mga taong mahilig magcheck ng phones nila and having this would save time para dukutin pa sa bulsa nila. Kung walang budget para dito hindi naman mapipilit pero sa mga techie type cool siya. Saka imposibleng yun lang ang gagawin ng isang magown ng wrist band para bilhin to, kasi maaaring active din siya sa gym or other functionalities. Nasa tao pa rin pero all in all, astig talaga ang idea and thanks to @fllippone for raising the topic and @Baofeng for reposting on our own language.

#meritislife dahil katuwaan lang sa kanila yan at siguro mura sa paningin nila ang $30. Personally, hindi ako bibili nito para sa bitcointalk mentions, quotes, at merit/s received dahil okay na sa aking ang mobile at desktop telegram apps. Pero kung may ibang paggagamitan ka pa naman nung Smartband, pwede na siguro.

Indeed, magandang idea ito but only to people na may extrang pera para bumili ng smartband. $30 aint cheap. Sa totoo 'lang marami ka na mabibili sa halagang 1500 Pesos.
Also, as Theb have already pointed out, yung smartphones mismo natin (which I assume lahat na tayo dito naka-smartphone na) is already capable of notifying us of just about anything really.
Siguro applicable lamang ito sa mga taong gusto tipirin ang battery life ng smartphones nila for important uses.
For me, I have a PC and a smartphone. Ginagamit ko ang PC for work and doing everything related to Bitcointalk like bounty management while yung smartphone is for social media usage and for notifying me of +merits or mentions through merit bot on telegram when I'm not in front of the PC.

Pasenya na pero di ba sa tingin niyo na unnecessary item yung smartband para lang ma-notify kung na mention ka or naka-tanggap ka ng merit? Bukod sa pagiging dagdag gastos ang mismong cellphone natin kaya ng makatanggap ng notification galing sa telegram via your phone's notification function, and ang mga phone ngayon highly customizable na kung saan pwede ka mag set ng priority on each notifications you received na pwede mong gawing priority or unang magpakita ang mga notifications galing sa Merit watcher and Mention Notification Bot. Mai-susuggest ko para sa makakabasa nito is gawing "optional' nalang yung smart band na kung meron ka na eh di ok na din may dagdag functionality na din ikaw sa watch mo para sa forum.
