Merry Christmas, everyone!

I hope everyone got something nice, whether a gift for oneself or a gift from a treasured person. Hopefully everyone now has more Bitcoin than they had before!

We should perhaps think of a new traditional way for Bitcointalk to celebrate the oncoming new years in a way that only a true Bitcointalker could appreciate. If anyone has any ideas on that, feel free to mention anything!

 

Seriously? I did not know that. The line has become a popular catchphrase but I always thought it was from some old black and white movie, but popularized by Kevin from Home Alone. Thanks for this info. 

The coming new year 2023 is one the high expectation of the bitcointalk forum members. If not all, 99% are expecting bitcoin market to go up. So the celebration of the Christ born day is also to the new year high expectation. The celebration is still going on, today is another festival of boxing.

It's a routine for me and my fam watching Home Alone together, but I'm currently far from home, still did I n't fail to watch it last night. Watched both Eyes Wide Shut and Home Alone yesterday. Both of em made my day.

Merry Christmas guys, just want to remind everyone to stay away from messages that has links saying Christmas gift and emails, stay safe and enjoy the holidays , and happy New year, may 2023 will be the season for everyone stay safe guys, scammers and hackers never sleeps.

The holiday season is still very much in full swing, and it's also a time to give thanks for all the blessings that come with being alive. As such, I'd like to wish everyone in this community a joyous Christmas and a blessed holiday. Having families here today is something I count as a blessing because there's nothing I love more than being healthy and seeing my family.

Little off-topic, but I couldn't resist from posting . Actually, there is no original movie, this scene was filmed specially for Home Alone. Once I wanted to find this movie and watch, but only found this infromation .

It's still evening in my country. I have been working in different country. This is my first Christmas celebration without my family. I go away in my comfort zone since I want to grow up more. Though, it is hard but it feels good since I have to live on my own dreams. So, for all of us who have dreams just continue what you have started. Many of us are having difficulties in life, many of us have regrets in investing in cryptocurrency, but always take a look why you started.

Again, Merry Christmas to you. This year is a downfall in cryptocurrency but next years hope that it will bloom again!


BTW, #sol wants to greet you also Merry Christmas. It even draw a Christmas Tree Chart.

Wow, I was not aware that you are respecting the old rite of Orthodoxism, lovesmayfamilis! I still have some relatives which respect it, although in Romania there are only a very few people which still keep this rite.

And, for KingsDen to better understand, in Orthodoxism, religious people are divided between those which follow Julian calendar and those which follow Gregorian calendar (which is also current calendar). By Julian calendar (introduced by Julius Caesar in 45 BC), religious dates are a bit different than our current ones. This is why people following the old religious calendar celebrate Christmas later, on January 7th. As a consequence, they also celebrate the New Year on January 14th. However, those following Julian calendar do it -- as far as I know -- only regarding religious events. So for them current date is still December 25th, for example. And tomorrow will still be December 28th and so on. Only the religious important days are switched.

In Romania we call the old calendar as the old rite; I don't know if it's common naming in other countries too. However, I am glad to see I and lovesmayfamilis share same religion. We are a bit different, based on the old vs. neew rite, but it's same Orthodox dogma Merry Christmas!

Although for me Christmas will begin only in January, I want to congratulate all the members of the forum for whom the Christmas holiday began earlier and wish you all the very best and brightest. Health to you and your family, success in business, love, and warmth, and of course, may our common dreams regarding Bitcoin come true, and 2023 will please us very often. Thoughts materialize; on this day we will think only of the good, and thus we will give the right direction for the future.
