Any way there is nothing impossible for those hacker to do because they keep there eye everywhere but I still think it will be difficult for them to get into meta mask because it has high security rate.

your new couldn't be stolen on its own. mew only gives you access to your address by using the private key. So you had to give away your private key in order to get hacked

Metamask can't be easily hacked because it's not a web wallet like MEW. Metamask is a chrome extension so it difficult to be hacked except when the owner is careless with his or her private key
i heard is still a way to hack this wallets. So nothing is sure in this days just be carefull and have split you money, don t keep all in the same wallet.

I’m sorry to hear that guy. As you know that everything which is connected with internet always brings us a big risk because on internet, nothing is secure. There is no doubt that there have a big amout of people using MEW because it’s much more secure than any other wallets. But it always never has a perfect safe in online wallet. Thus, although when our account is stolen which makes us definitely in bad mood, anyway we have to accept what happened to us.
Hackers can do everything they can to get what they want and hackers are always trying to find a gap in hacking our private keys, we'd better use a lot of security.

Back to your question keep strong password on your metamask, always double check to which wallet you are sending to as there are computer viruses that can switch what you copy and paste. Hacker can obtain the metamask files if they are good and this is why you want strong password. If you are really paranoid go and buy hardware wallet for easy and secure solution.
