The ability to offer good products and services is one of the things which has or can lead to having high user base. Most projects today can't even maintain their working product while there are some which does thus being valuable as more users will be attracted; this Metamask case, is just an example. In the same way, Metamask being a very good and trusted platform will continue in their quest for excellence in order to retain their competitive advantage. I think other blockchain platforms should follow this same path in order for them to grow as well, which is, improving everyday to meet the needs of users while bringing in more features to attract more users.

I think metamask is good for claiming token. I actually don't use it for many reason. I prefer trust wallet more. Metamask is also good but sometimes I need to add token by myself and I don't like it. Eth is also going up now it is above 250$ and it could easily went over 300$ if this bull run continue.

I also use metamask, especially after MEW users have integrated tracking with it, this makes it easy to withdraw and deposit ETH and tokens in the chain. Easy to use, what I like the most is the choice of transaction fees at the speed we want. It's like a bridge connecting your computer, from the Chrome browser, Firefox, and Brave to connect with Ethereum. This cool.

Do not put all of metamasks success into ethereum only, they were basically one of the best erc20 token wallets out there in the world and they were capable of building a product that was both amazingly easy to use (even a kid can use it) and also work perfectly without any problems at all while providing all that is needed from them at the same time.

Certainly ethereum had an increase recently but look at the number of users on their platform, they have been consistently getting higher and higher even before ethereum went up and even when ethereum was under 200 dollars and not moving, they were still getting customers, plus they are doing some amazing work with EOS as well so all in all they were great even before ethereum went up and that means we can attribute their success to them and not ethereum.

Not just buyers but more like getting to know what crypto is.

Are you sure that ether's price crossed $300 because I just checked coinmarketcap and the 24hr high was $282 and so I checked the 7 day high and it was about $287.
May be ether's price would have crossed $300 on some particular exchange but the global ethereum price is still around $265.

Ethereum 2.0 still has a few months to be launched. The Ethereum team once said that Ethereum 2.0 will be launched at the end of first quarter of the year but then they postponed it.
So it's probably not gonna launch for the next few months.

Just to be perfectly clear, ETH haven't touch $300 yet, it was closed but not haven't breach that price.

As far as the record though, it's quite an achievement, I can't remember when did Metamask enabled it's extension, but having 1 million users already, damn, it just shows that crypto is really growing no matter what negative things people are saying about it.

I'm not going to be surprised if that numbers double in just a year specially when we enter the bull run. And they did a good job as well, as this extension allows web applications to interact with our wallet in a simply but very effective way.

Metamask is an incredible application, it has one of the simplest and easy to understand interface. What makes it different from other wallets is its ability to get attached as an extension on multiple browser that are build on chromium.

Good to know: You can now use metamask on microsoft edge chromium. It is very fast than chrome and other browsers in its league and does block ads.
