Metamask is good, but some people are worried about privacy and security with browser extensions. I recommend trying XGo instead. Their web 2.5 platform is more user-friendly and WalletID lets you use a single ID for all your coins/tokens. They want to make crypto easy for everyone, so I trust them.

You are simply shilling, not recommending it. Metamask is pretty much the industry standard for cryptocurrency usage. The number of users, the activeness of development, and the ecosystem supporting it made it a robust wallet.

I tried to look around about XGo, and I can hardly see it is better than Metamask. I did not see any source code. The platform/wallet requires the user to sign up. It is hardly talked about here and on Reddit. So instead of claiming user-friendliness and easy option, people should be wary if they decide to use this wallet.

I got an information of Metamask crowdfund and launch of Token. How true is that?

I don't know about crowdfunding but the news of a retroactive mm airdrop has been flying all over Twitter a few days back, there were even posts with criteria of the airdrop but the mm team made a public ann disregarding the news. However, airdrop farmers are strongly convinced that there will be one in the future and the criteria will include using the mm bridge that was recently added in the extension, and swapping using different networks, but these are all speculations nothing official.

Never heard of it. Metamask is one of the most trusted wallets. There is no alternative for it.

I just don't like how extensions work generally. You click somewhere else and it will be hidden. They should fix that problem.

MetaMask wallet with Ethereum network you can use if you need altcoins and/or tokens, which are supported by decentralized MetaMask wallet Ethereum network or another popular networks, like BNB Smart Chain network. Good example are altcoin Binance Smart Chain BNB various tokens - Tether BEP20 USDT, Binance USD BUSD etc.. Of course, you can try to find multi altcoin wallets, like Atomic wallet, but in fact MetaMask will be more simple and better. Plus you can exchange your altcoins/tokens inside wallet via swap, and add networks and various less popular tokens by yourself, if token is supported by network.

In my opinion, what makes Metamask stand out is its ease of use and convenience for interacting with the Ethereum blockchain. It allows you to securely manage your digital assets, view your transaction history, and interact with decentralized applications (dapps) in your web browser.

It also provides a high level of security, with features such as password protection and initial phrase backup to protect your assets.

I would definitely recommend using Metamask if you are interested in using Ethereum-based dapps or managing your Ethereum assets.

So, Metamask is widely used and trusted in the Ethereum community, and provides a seamless experience for interacting with the blockchain. Also, it is free to use and can be installed easily as a browser extension like Chrome browser.

Lastly, one thing is important. Make sure you connect Metamask to a trusted site. So, the actual control is completely in your hands.

1. What make this extension to really stand out?
2. Why should you advise me to use it?
Two questions maybe I can answer with one answer.
Metamask is an extension application developed by Consensys Software which is basically for running the Ethereum smart chain. But as the development of blockchain technology with one Wallet address can be used for several blockchain, then Metamask provides Custum RPC services, where users can customizes smart chains as needed.

Metamask is a browser (Chrome, Vivaldi, Opera and Firefox) extension that makes it convenient for web applications to interact with the ethereum blockchain.

I've read that this extension can change and track activities on a web browser. It has been recommended by some forum also that its suitable and great.

https://www.sitepoint.com/metamask-ethereum-blockchain/

I want to hear your opinion on the following.

1. What make this extension to really stand out?

2. Why should you advise me to use it?

3. Why will you advise  me not to use it?

4. Do we have better alternative to Metamask?

1. Not that much but it is the most common wallet specially its a non custodial ones as long you dont expose those keys and approved those permissions or transactions then you should be fine.

2. Its up to you because it would really be just that relevant on using this extension if you are really dealing off with something  that do requires wallet log in or those purchases.

3. Use it up according into the convenience that it gives as long you do know those safety protocols then there's nothing you should be worried about.

4. Trustwallet which i've been using for a while.

Interested fellows can learn the basics of web3, DAO from Metamask at their own pace. The lessons are available in English and other 7 languages on https://learn.metamask.io/ . As MetaMask Learn becomes a definitive library of educational content on Web3,according to the webpage of the wallet more lessons and languages will be added.

Trust wallet doesn't really support all ERC20 tokens, I have tried installing it and there are tokens that don't appear there. The transactions on metamask are also not going through most of the time, the transactions just piled up on queue. If there is any other else wallet I might just try it even if I have to pay higher. Myetherwallet works better also the MEW on phone.
You can manually add the tokens on Trust Wallet. The queue issue probably happens due to the fee itself, not because MetaMask. If that doesn't solve your problem you can easily clear your local data and create a new account. Sometime the data got corrupted due to various reasons, such as attempting to speed up your tx multiple times before it was published to the nearest node.

In this decentralized financial era, metamask is the most powerful tool to enter any defi platforms. It is an easy-to-use web3 wallet that suitable for almost all dapps or AMM platforms.
And also it's not only for ethereum network usage, you can use metamask to manage few others network like bsc or rsk by custom rpg feature.

1. I never used the metamask extension before that, but I came to know it has lot of option and many use cases.

2. I would advice metamask extension over myetherwallet.

3. After I discover, mainly BSC introduced as of alternative Ethereum network. Overall in the terms of popularity metamask will come first. So, use it.

4. There always alternatives. For me, I used Trust wallet but I would recommended metamask.

1. What make this extension to really stand out?
One of the first ways to interact with Ethereum network + having a lot of features like managing ERC20 tokens and connect to many decentralized exchanges...

2. Why should you advise me to use it?
i would advice you to use a hardware wallet to store your funds, otherwise for daily paiyments, metamask is a good option as a browser addon friendly use and safe as much as you safely use the net.

3. Why will you advise  me not to use it?
Personally, i have no reasons to do it.

4. Do we have better alternative to Metamask?
Recently, i discovered MEW CX, it's a browser extension as well that provides all the functionalities of MyEtherWallet interface helping to use different addresses for different Dapps. I suggest you to take a look at it:

Right from day one I've never liked any thing that runs through browser add-on or plugins because the first time I would experience malware was through browser plugins, I'm not surprised that metamask ( as good as it is ) can be easily compromised just by browsing the web, I started using metamask with confidence when the team released the app version

I also wish to know if there are platforms where one can know if the metamask site or URL is a real one or not and it should also be able to check the authenticity of other sites.
If you accidentally click on a phishing link that tries to steal your ethereum and have metamask installed, the site will get blocked with a warning that metamask has detected some suspicious behavior. It is safer to use Metamask over MyEtherWallet directly, I believe MEW was built with the more sophisticated users in mind and when phising MEW links started coming up everywhere during ICO sales, Metamask was built to prevent people from getting hacked.

This happened all because people are not aware of hackers prying on sales and setting up such malicious sites to clone MEW and point to that for the tokensale and the users are not willing to bookmark the original site in the first place. But metamask will block the site, thus saving their money.

That's a great value Metamask have over others in regards to blocking suspicious botnet or malware sites.

Does Metamask detect only crypto related sites or all site that look suspicious or that look insecure to use?

Probably a site that lacks SSL certificate may be very prone to hacking.
