Either they skipped the windows 9 or forgot counting.

Lol.. Maybe 9 is badluck for Gates.
I heard that someone in Germany thought that it's because the word nine (spelled: nein) means no in the German language.

In other words:
Windows: No

Whatever name MS called its new OS, it's still a piece of crap. They think they can bully it's way into tablets by making desktop OS touch screen friendly. The fact is, it forces users to switch away from MS.

Funny that Microsoft is advertising with the fact that they have changed Windows 10  Cheesy

The only thing they did is make it work and look like windows 7  Grin

No need to upgrade once again, windows 7 is perfect!

I don't think we should judge it based off of its name.  What was the rationale behind skipping 9 though?

I'm using windows 7 currently and have tried windows 8 for a while (not that much different imo). Changing operation system (and moving data etc etc...) doesn't worth it if there are no major advantages IMO.

Yep, sticking with windows 7 for now.

If it's anything like 8 (tablet-friendly eye cancer) will probably switch over to linux for good.
