LOL! Yes mean people do suck but they keep one on one's toes. 8^)

To the exchanges; look at ETrade, TDWaterhouse and Scottrade for the level of professionalism the average investor expects nowadays. These are the ones I use and their peers have smilar functionality.

At the very least PLEASE add email notice of a trade.

You forgot an "order history" log

Will be in 'dashboard'

The history disappears over time in the current dashboard. Can that change to be permanent and downloadable into a log?

I am one with you on the CAPTCHA business. I haven't had any trades on Tradehill so far because prices are too stable and I've only just joined. Mt. Gox is okay, there is just the 0.03 percents BTC charge, right?.. will be much more action on the exchanges come the next RALLY!...  Grin

Smalleyster,
mean people on this forum suck, don't they?  Another thing I don't like about Tradehill is how they force you to write things down from one page to remember them at the trade page, e.g., current price.  It's always bad form to require people to memorize or write things down as they navigate your site.

Sorry I just feel real hostility towards the speculators, its not what bitcoin was designed for.

No plan ever survives contact with the real world.

All currencies have speculators.  No speculators, no exchanges.

:-D  Apology accepted.  I dislike speculators too, but the way Bitcoin is set up, speculation is (mostly) all we'll ever get.

For one think I was not alerted by email when trades happened.

Second I had to write a spreadsheet to figure out what they actually charged me.

Thirdly they both log you out in miniscule time periods.

And I NEVER get the TH capcha right the first time (blind as a bat and all that rot)

Fairly unprofessional compared to the brokerage accounts I have used.

I agree with your 3 first points  Smiley

Wahhhhhh I deserve all things in the universe to go in the exact fashion I envision in my brain!!!!!

A fine example of the free market responding efficiently to its customers demands ("the customer is always right").  So much better than those government-regulated monopolies that just tell you to shut up and accept things just the way they are.

Freedom.
