I think OP takes the notion of the unskilled hiring skilled people too seriously, such as CEOs who often a dropout but manage to hire straight A students, and the silicon valley "seed investors." Skill is an intangible capital, and money is a tangible capital. Both are important, and can be utilized to generate income. IMO, many of the "unskilled" as OP coined, aren't really unskilled at all. They actually skilled and have overcome many challenges to survive and achieve their position as an investor. Read Kiyosaki's Cashflow Quadrant to get the simplified explanation on how skilled workers become business owner and then finally become investor. It's more of a progression, and most people start from the "have to acquire skills" zone.

That's possible because even you're skilled into a task that you can do easily and make a lot of money out of it yet you're not financially literate, you don't know how to save your profit from that skill.
But there's also the situation that even how hard you're trying to save but you have a lot of obligations and burden which you're bringing, you won't be wealthy but you're responsible.

You are absolutely correct. I read on a Facebook post that not all people are paid the same when it comes to salary because there are types of people who do not have obligations, such as those you mentioned, and others who do have obligations, such that their salary is insufficient. As far as skills are concerned, we should point out that if you have abilities, I believe you have not yet landed your dream job that will make you successful. However, don't just think about jobs; think about business as well, because while not all jobs will make you wealthy, business may be able to make you wealthy.

I basically don't agree. But this is not just a simple case of attracting positive vibration or energy, or something like if you want it you will have it kind of thinking. I'm afraid this might not really be the case in the real hard world of day-to-day struggles.

Supposing there are two persons of equal socio-economic status. One developed multiple skills, the other didn't. What would possibly happen to the one who has the skills in terms of his/her living condition? What would happen to the other?

It may be true in life that a dumb, unskilled, school dropout, and kind of lazy person ends up hiring those who are skilled, brilliant, and hardworking. But that is because of other factors outside this discussion. He/she could have been born with a silver spoon in his/her mouth.

In simpler language, Is it possible that people who always want to learn this and that skill to be able to survive never really become so wealthy in life compared to those who just want to be able to have money to be able to patronise the services of people who offer them?

There are welders like Jesse James, indie developers like John Carmack (Doom), musicians, athletes, actors are other associated forms of skilled labor who do attain relative degrees of wealth. CEOs, politicians, admirals, generals might also be considered skilled labor. Many with these job titles have little control over how their business scales. Skilled labor like Satoshi Nakamoto could see their wealth shift dramatically over the span of only a decade. With zero control or influence over the net effect.

The overall dollar value of skilled versus unskilled labor rests upon relative contributions to society. With the appraisal process being somewhat subjective and arbitrary. Labor markets have shifted dramatically away from skilled labor and specialized skillsets. Towards mundane tasks being in greater danger of workplace automation.

Time is yet another aspect. Living in a hamster wheel of paycheck to mouth, may not leave people with much time to focus on developing the specialized skillsets they may desire. Instead forcing them to choose from lesser options.

Mindset can play a great role in one's success. In the industry, there are skilled and unskilled people. There are naturally talented people and we must know that talent differs from skills. To define, skills can be learned and acquired during any stage of someone's life. There is no person who is naturally skilled, but there are people who are already born talented.

When you arrive at the age of being aware of how the world works and how harsh reality is, you will feel the need to find something to generate income from in order to survive. For some, studying is their ladder to reach the top. Some people feel the need to study in order to achieve what they want to become in life. The process of studying gives them the opportunity to be skilled in the field they want to pursue in the future. Skilled people usually have a wider opportunity to choose from the moment they finish their degree. It also gives them the chance to choose what position they want and the rate of salary they receive is par ahead compared to those unskilled that are working with blue-collar jobs. If you have this kind of mindset, it's a good thing because it clearly implies that you have a goal and dream that you aspire to reach one day. However, this shouldn't make you complacent in life. Just because you are skilled, doesn't really guarantee you a spot at the top. In fact, most of the time, skilled people are the ones who are working in the company, and not the company owner because they were too fixated on their job, not aiming more.

Meanwhile, there are unskilled people who are unskilled by choice or because of a lack of opportunity and privilege. Most of the time it is because of the latter. There are many people who belong to the poverty line, hence, they lack the opportunity to study to become skilled based on their dream profession. But being unskilled doesn't stop these people to dream and achieve their aspirations in life. Most of the unskilled people that I have met will surely shock you for they have a great mindset one has to have. Since these people lack opportunity because of being unprivileged, instead of sulking, they make an opportunity of their own. These kinds of people are usually one of the hard-working and smart people you've ever met and they apply it by working in blue-collar jobs such as doing labor and the likes as a starting point. From there, they condition themselves to rise from the top. By applying the lessons they learned from experience and with the help of their upheld values, beliefs, and principles in life.

It's not just about the skilled and unskilled, most of the companies focused onto the idea of degrees as well to accept
or get a job. There's a lot of people have a good skills but doesn't have a degree, that's why most companies doesn't accept them. But I believe that even though a person is not skilled or don't have nothing, that doesn't mean he or she won't become rich or don't find any job. It is all about plan, those strategies they will going to do and the determination to achieve it. As long as they will trust their self fully and do all the hard work then there's nothing wrong with it. But it is also true that learning skills makes a person more disciplined too.

The reason for that divide is because A. Not everyone has the capability to learn all kinds of disciplines and even if they can, it's going to take them a lifetime before they can do it all not to mention that there's more skills popping up in the near future. And B. Is because the capitalist pigs at the top of the pyramid wants to create the illusion that there's a divide and they want to justify the dirt poor wages.

A skilled and unskilled labor have a difference in what is already being said, skills. Skills will lead them to bigger incomes, bigger incomes would mean a bigger saving and possibly bigger volume of investment. In that sense, the skilled labourer may spend more, save more and invest more.

But it is also true that learning skills makes a person more disciplined too. They would more likely go for safer and long term investments than impulsive investments dont by less disciplined laborers.

I dont think this has anything to do with mindset, that is somewhat inherent and also additionally coming from upbringing. Skills may change mindset but they would make it turn 180.

I don't really think so, simply cause if we take inherited wealth out of the question, the wealthy people you're talking about who patronize other skilled individuals are also very much skilled in their own field, mind you that they are even more skilled than the average individual with just a 'basic' skill, Influential/rich individuals who own chains of businesses are very skilled in their area of specialization, people tend to feel that rich individuals aren't skilled or that they got to their present position out of luck or just favor, but that believe is erroneous, they actually work harder than the average Joe and acquire more skills than you can actually tell.

Having said that, what separates both sets of individuals is the skills acquired, there are skills that are more profitable than the other, thus people who are very rich tend to acquire the most sought out skills and take steps miles ahead of others and later on employ/hire others who acquired other skills they didn't for some specific service. People who acquire the right/profitable skills in the long run usually get rich from it.

This works on certain people but not every single person. For example let's assume that you have a startup idea, congratulations you are one in a billion, because over a billion people have one and that means it worths zero and noooo job in the world no matter how awesome it sounds or how realistic or how profitable it sounds there is still no way that it worths even a single cent of investment until it starts to work.

However if you sleep with it, wake up with it, eat with it, watch netflix with it on your mind constantly and can't stop thinking about it, then some people will get to work. Even though millions upon millions will do nothing about it, there are "some" (a few) who will do everything to make it work.

I have seen one guy who worked overtime at his work for a while to earn more, then got a second job instead of overtime, then became taxi driver, and saved 13k dollars (which is quite good amount of money for startup in my nation). Then he worked 4 months to learn how to design and develop his idea, so he didn't pay anyone else and can keep the funds for marketing. Then he worked on learning marketing, seo, inbound, email and many other methods as well. Not all will do this and it is very rare.

Not all of them have to follow the movement or make additional skills. Precisely at this time everyone is looking for skills that have their own characteristics. If it's just the same as the others or simply is an easy-to-find common skill there will be a lot of competition. but when you have a characteristic that distinguishes your skills from others skill seekers will really need it for an attraction that not everyone has.

See when people who have above average or unique skills become the attention and target of company owners.

It's not just about the skilled and the unskilled most of the companies and the jobs are focused onto the idea of degrees as well. Even though you might be more skilled they would not accept you over the person who has a better degree. Also many universities and campus provides in campus job opportunities as well therefore I do think you should not only focus on your education as well, which would need immense planning from day one. Therefore most of the times it's also about the experience you can gain over the years perse. Since the companies always prefers experienced people over the unskilled and freshers so therefore, it would be wise to take over internships as well overseas even if it's unpaid to get more skills.

A reasonable person must think about their skill because it is the skill that will put food on the table for them. Therefore he will think on how to better the skill, polish and update it to the current reality of the changing world to continue benefiting maximally in the area of the skill. The world is becoming digitalize and for example a photographer must learn how to go digital to maintain the changing demand of the customers likewise other examples, so they must think about their skills if they want to continue to remain relevant.

Adapting to the relevance of the growing era and following what the customers want. That is quite reasonable and as a requirement for someone who has a profession in a certain field to be able to survive in a modern environment. Because if not, besides being left behind, the customer will also look for professional workers who are in accordance with what he expects. Sometimes following the development of the times can never be pursued, unless you have the quality to maintain your characteristics and have an existence that is no longer in doubt. So it's not you who follow the customer, but the customer follows what you are good at in that field.

The one that is skilled but is asking to be given what he needs basically dies imo, while the latter lives. Money makes the world go round imo, and even without skills as long as the latter knows how to make money, then why can't he ultimately live out the rest? Yes, skills could give you the avenue to actually earn money, but without planning it out properly and just learning, money would go past your hands. The world is a competitive place and if you're learning, then there's probably tens, hundreds or thousands of others doing the same. It isn't enough just to learn, you have to learn how to use what you learned effectively.

There is absolutely no denying of the point that you made with relation to the skilled. We keep hearing about this paradigm of "Learn, Un-learn and Re-learn". The hustle culture, gig economy, productivity porn and learning obsession seem interlinked with the ultimate objective of producing the most efficient workers for a capitalist economy.

Adding skills is a positive as long as you are actually applying them and using them to synthesize further. As per Bloom's taxonomy of Knowledge, if you keep learning without application, you will never actually synthesize anything.

This is where your point about "Learning skills without plans of expanding" comes from. Its proven research that Knowledge has no value without application.

I think it's very possible and quite often the case that stupid bosses have smart people working for them and ensuing they get their profits. It's not always this way, as of course there are some people in business who have a very good education and expertise in some areas. But in my country, people who run big companies (both state-owned and private ones) are frequently college dropouts or those who got their diplomas illegally, and these people are often far from smart or skilled. But of course, they need skilled managers who will actually run the companies. I think it's a matter of the level of corruption.
At least, there are areas where you must be very skilled to succeed, and blockchain development is one of them. You can pretend you know how to run a fashion journal or a gas company, but it's harder to pretend you know what scripts mean and how they work.

Somewhere here I once read an expression that I liked: "I am not ashamed to be born poor, I am ashamed to remain poor now."
This sounds like a motivation for all segments of the population. There are a lot of examples when a person who owns any capital in the absence of competent ownership of it went bankrupt. At the same time, there are a lot of successful people who had a great desire to learn and, as a result, built their own well-developing business.
What conclusions can we draw? It's just that we will never get rich with just one desire, in addition to this, we need to do something, only then will our desires turn into reality.

The strong is the fate of a person when he does not have basic skills, but he is born in a rich state. It has absolutely no effect. As for the person who doesn't think much about his skills, but he works hard according to what he can do from day to day just working to meet his needs.
