The site is quite new and the views counter seems proving it (and let's count even that the page of the top players doesn't seems to work, so most likely he refuses even to write a fake username to get people think that is active already), anyway i tried to see if gives away a btc address and i was right, but seems that changes everytime you refresh the page so maybe it can't help so much

I am fairly certain that the scammer did not get anywhere near 4k USD. That would mean he would have gained more than 10 BTC, the ticket price was 0.01 per ticket if i remember correctly. This means 1000 tickets would have been sold to either 1000 people or some bought more than 1 ticket. If you take a look at how long the thread was up im pretty sure the scammer did not reach those numbers.
If the 0.87 BTC part is true then i guess it did pay off as hosting + domain + a site cost less.
