Thanks for this miner. Working perfectly.
I am fairly new to mining as I just got my hardware all in on Friday.
The minute I actually get some bitcoin, I will be sending a donation your way.
I do have a question.

My setup is 1 R-Box 32, 1 R-Box 110, a regular ASIC USB Block (333Mhz..yeah I know), 3 Antminer U2s, 1 Bi*Fury and 1 HexFury.
I will eventually replace all the USB sticks with R-Boxes.

If I wanted to upgrade to cgminer to 4.9.1 what should I compile for?
Just icarus? Or do I need other compile options?
I guess I am asking how minera is compiled for 4.8 it comes with.

Edit: I got it working. This is what I did if you are curious.
All is well and running 4.9.1 now.

cd /tmp
wget http://ck.kolivas.org/apps/cgminer/cgminer-4.9.1.tar.bz2
tar xvf cgminer-4.9.1.tar.bz2
cd cgminer-4.9.1
./configure --enable-icarus --enable-bitfury
sudo make
sudo make install
STOPPED MINER RUNNING
cp cgminer /var/www/minera/minera-bin/

Thanks for the quick reply.

I have seen the examples but not sure where I enter these.

Do I turn on Manual and enter there in which case what is is the full script to scan all and clock set - apologies but bit new to this

Yep, turn on "manual" miner settings and put one of those entire string in (select the relative preferred miner). Remember to look at log if you are in trouble.

Thanks have done and and working better now - thanks

On a different matter Smiley

Am now running another Pi a B+ with 3 Zeus Blizzards attached using the the fork for cgminer for Zeus - cannot get bfgminer to work.

Am getting 85% hardware errors.

The issue is they are running to fast I think (clock speed) - the total hash showing is 5.07&Mh/s (each one around 1.68 to 1.7!!) should be around 4.3 to 4.5 with clock running at 340.

Question is how do I custom control the clock speed in Minera must be up around 380.
Tried --zeus-clock 340 but it doesn't load - where and what to I enter

Any advice welcome Smiley

Look at the help page here: http://getminera.com/help there are many config examples you can try:

Cgminer Dmaxl:

Code:
--scrypt --scan-serial zeus:auto --zeus-chips 6 --zeus-clock 330

Bfgminer:

Code:
--scrypt -S zus:all --set zus:chips=6 --set zus:clock=330

If something goes wrong, take a look at the miner log, you can find it at the bottom of the dashboard page.

OK does any one have an issue when re-starting or starting Minerd, it just hangs and will not proceed.

When pressing refresh it stops and goes back to the previous screen - not running
This also happens with saving settings or save and restart settings.

Running on Raspberry Pi B with Antminer U3 and 2 x Antminer U2

Tried rebooting - shutdown, unplug and restart

Before this running fine then stops so trying to restart and get this issue

Have re-installed on SD card once this worked and machine restarted OK.

Any suggestions - as to what is happening.

SD cards aren't really designed to have Operating Systems on them so some behave irregularly and corrupt easily, try another SD if possible.

Does anybody know if this works with the Raspberry P1 2

Yes of course! It works with every Raspberry model, new ones included. (I think it works on Bananian too but I never tried)

@cavaliersrus sorry for delay, you can try to look at the miner logs at /var/logs/minera/log-.php it should be simple to discover the date/time your miner died.

Thanks guys donations are always much appreciate Wink

PS
0.5.0 is coming with network miner support, I'm sorry but I need more time to finish it, hope to release it for March.
