Why did you guys remove 2FA on the update? Isn't that a step backwards..
Hello!
There are no need in 2FA. MinexBank isn't storing your coins, so even if someone will proceed to hack your account, all he will be able to do it's cancel or create parking. I think hackers aren't interested in such things. Smiley

I don't think that the reason giving is genuie enough, the space is getting smart everyday and 2FA has helped me alot, If it adds tot he team overhead cost then the team need to say, just know that anything that can be hacked will be hacked now or later

In the case of Minexbank 2FA absolutely useless feature that can   even be obstackle for client, IMHO. To have it on Minexbank is similar to have  2FA on weather forecasting website.

The day you're gonna park $10.000 and you'll see someone get into your account and make you loose $500 because he cancelled your 5% weekly parking, maybe you'll change your mind.
Someone might not be interested to do it alone, and there's no point in doing that, but we absolutely know that cryptocurrency world is sensible. And the day someone will want to see minexcoin going down, they'll find a way to get into everyone's account and cancel all the parkings. You'll see how nice it is on the news sites...
My investment is much higer that 10.000$ But, my PC is protected, wallet is encrypted+backup is saved outside from PC. I have long and strong password at Minexbank. But in bank working people who knows about security much more than you or me. And if they are saying 2FA is useless anymore, so that is like that. And nobody say you why, I hope you understand why?

10.000$ was an example, I don't care how much you owe.
Which bank said 2FA is useless. I'd be curious to know. Why did Visa develop 3D Secure then ?

I don't understand why you don't understand that it isn't neccesary.
I mean what is the big deal, nobody can steal anyone coins. The only thing a hacker could do is
A) park your coins for you (nice for you, less work)
B) cancel your parking, in which case you find out soon enough and you can just transfer the coins to another address and create a new minexbank account.
C) change your password, in which case you just transfer your coins to a new address and create a new minexbank account.

Either ways it's no big deal.

Do you have 2FA at your Facebook for example? Do you have 2FA in your online banking? 2FA in 99.9999% is useless thing. your accounts is protected without that. But chance to lost phone is much higer. Tell me why you need that 2FA? because someone told you it is safe? Did you ever got situation when you lost access to your funds just because your phone did clock delay for few seconds?

Of course 2FA is a strengthened strategy for account protection, there's no point in discussing that. Facebook gives you the possibility to use it. My banks (I have 3 different ones) all propose 2FA too as an option if I want to. Google, Steam, Apple and so many other companies offer it as an option.
2FA is seen, most of the time as a boring thing by users until they get robbed or hacked.
2FA might not be incredibly necessary for minexbank but at least, they should give the option to activate it if you want. There are some people concerned about security and this is company's duty to try to fulfill customers needs/hopes.

To those who don't know how to compute the profitability of mining MNX, here's an automatiic online calculator that you can use for the meantime. Don't forget to change the current network hashrate and the minexcoin price.

I heard it costs millions of dollars to get on the top 3 exchanges (each)

Livecoin is smaller but good exchange. I think other exchanges should race to implement Minexcoin to their trading pairs. They lose so much profit from fees. People are excited to trade this coin obviously.
I did use livecoin for long time and never got any problem! you can open an account on livecoin sent your btc and buy as many minexcoin as you want and sent it back to your wallet.

Yeah I used them too it's pretty fast and secure. I like Livecoin, volume is also good there for Minexcoin.
New version looks same, I like that. I don't like UI/UX changes. Monthly parking option is good.
