The higher the transfer fee, the faster the transaction. You just have to deal with that.

Hi, some of my BTC are on Armory on my old computer.

I want to move those bitcoin to my new computer on Exodus this time (I don't want to run a node on my new computer).

The fees to make the transfer are 0.005848 which is way too high for transferring money from one pocket to another.

What is the cheapest way to move bitcoin from a wallet to another wallet?

Thanks!

I've used around 50k satoshi to send each bitcoin transaction every time and due to the segwit support that gives the more improvement and my transaction already got a fast transaction. It doesn't make sense to see about the reliable fees almost 0,006 satoshi. But you can try to see about the reliable fees through bitcoin21fess and just try to put what you have seen from there about the reliable fees.

Let you try coinpayment.net account for bitcoin and altcoins,For low as fee against 0.0002btc i dont know to others altcoins if thats the same fee too because coinpayment wallet is have a altcoins wallet too not bitcoin only thats a secured wallet and tested theres a campaign for thats site.

He has his own wallet.
He is asking to to transfer coins from his wallet not about a service.
To use coinpayment you must first transfer the coins to their wallet which he can''t do it right now because of the fees.

minimum fee you can pay 0.0002xx BTC but if your balance Bitcoin its large , I recommended you for pay Fee 0.018 BTC or more because fast confirmed block.

Let me get this right...
You recommend him paying a fee of over 100$ dollars to move his coins?
Are you out of your mind?

Now back to the op.

If you just want to move the priv keys go to the backup center in the wallet dialog.

The minimum fee to transger Bitcoin is 1 satoshi. It will take a while for that to get confirmed probably though so you can get it bumped up to have it confirmed faster.
No
The Minimum Are 0 Satoshi
And If U Use That Fee Maybee Your Transaction Will Never Confirmed

The minimum amount of money to make your transaction goes through the blockchain is aprox 0.0005 at the moment (less than 3 dollars) and that is not much money if you think about it, you are only paying three dollars or less only to send a payment.. there is a lot of people complaining about it, but i dont understand why, because that amount is nothing compared to the  fees that you have to pay for a bank wire (much more than $25 each)
so it is fine for me, you can send less than that amount, but your transaction will take an eternity.

It's a big deal for newbies who earned that amount in claiming faucets or doing some task. Also $3 in some country like in ours can buy foods or clothes already. But if you are transferring high amount of btc thrn 0.0005 is really not a big deal. I just hope transactions fees will be lowered in the near future like altcoins.

You could export your bitcoin private key from Armory and import it to SPV bitcoin wallet such as Electrum. Otherwise, just manually configure fee/(byte/KB) or transaction fee. Just remember that lower fees could increase confirmation time.
I think this is the best way to transfer your btc into new wallet or location without spending any fees if it will cost you that much.

usually I spend 0.0003xxxx btc for the fees. I think you can set the fees in the setting in your armorey wallet. but I think if you want to move more than 1 btc from your armory to another wallet, then its no problem if you have to pay the fee 0.005848 btc and I think its still cheap for you because you want to move more than 1 btc.  but if you want to move less than 0.1 btc and your fees is more than 0.001xxx btc then you might have to check in your setting wallet.

If you decide to send the coins with really low fee settings, you can try an accelerator to get your transaction confirmed sooner.
https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/
This it the ViaBTC accelerator, every full hour you can send your low fee transaction to get it included into the very next block. Just be very sharp, only the first few transactions are included, if you miss it, you need to wait another hour to try.

Just recently, I've tried a transaction with a 4k sat fee that's about .27-25 cents sending about $20 just to try it out. And I got confirmed within 2 hours. Lower than 3k sats I'm struggling to get confirmations though mempool has some volume. The smaller the fee the slower it gets confirmed the higher the faster it gets confirmed. So planning your transactions may save you some sats, It's good transact when mempool is empty, it's way more faster. But dude just backup your keys and import it to your new wallet. No need to make a transaction.

Minimum bitcoin fee is relative, depending on the policy of its market to withdraw its fee, because every market where we transaction bitcoin fee is different between one market with its other market

I think as much as the payment to transfer bitcoin from one wallet to another is not too expensive, that's a natural thing for me. there are indeed other cheaper ways of bitcoin transfer fees, but the process is very long.

Actually, there is no set minimum fee to use the Bitcoin network, and it is still possible to set zero fees for a transaction. However, most web-based wallets that you can use will set in its software a minimum fee. Some express it as a network fee, some express it as a transaction fee. But this is actually just the fee they charge you for their service. The actual fee they use to pay miners for including your transaction will generally vary. Miners in general will prioritise higher fees, since they make more that way, naturally.

You're choosing to use Exodus, which doesn't let you control your fees and sets a minimum for you, but this means you have no control over how low that can be or quickly your tx gets confirmed

If you are using a wallet that enables you to control setting your own fee (My favourite is Electrum!), some websites can help you estimate the minimum fees you need to get your first confirmation in a range of time. My favourite is https://bitcoinfees.21.co

Some desktop or android based wallet lets you customize the transaction fee for the transfer bitcoin as low as 1 satoshi the cheapest fee that you can made but the risk of this one is that it will take a weeks or months to confirm the transfer of your coins which is kinda inconvenient to do just because you are saving money the work around to make your transfer confirmations faster is to raise your fee for atleast 0.0002 sats and above.
Some wallets and coinbase exchanges have a default transfer fee for the transaction so it depends on the wallet and storage that you are using.

The fee can be as low as 0.0002btc but it will take a while for the payment.  The higher the fee the faster the other party would receive the funds. Smiley
