As you don’t pay the gup tillnow. I think its best decision to spend your time and participate in valuable and commendable bounty program to get a lot of  token. And trade tem to for bitcoin to  purchase your mining set.

You can not do mining with this configuration. You must need a gpu to do the mining so i think you try other things related to cryptocurrency.

You can mine without GPU ofcourse but there is no benefit of mining without it. Mining is not that easy and without GPU things can get more complicated.

I think mining with a CPU is a bad choice because your CPU will not be damaged for a long time and if it continues for longer it will cause more serious damage than before

A good CPU only is not enough to join mining at the moment Smiley. I think you need tons of good CPU. LOL. You should know that mining difficulty level is increasing very quickly day by day and price of whole crypto market is dumping so you should think carefully before making decision to join mining or not Smiley. IMO, you shouldn't but you still can get more knowledge about mining by taking a look at this section: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=14.0

I think you can mining if you want. If you do not have a GPU, then you can spend more time and attend in various bounty programs and keep collecting coins. You start mining with your coins. BTCBTCBTC

With just a CPU, you can't be mined any coins, except if you have any kind of GPU to begin to. Mining coins will be difficult to mine in this specification, you need great specs of pc or manufacture a mining hardware which is exceptionally costly at the present time, So as long as you don't have GPU, you can't start mining.

Without GPU/ASICS mining other types of mining are not very profitable and also time consuming. So, I would not suggest you to try a cheaper way to mine coins as they can also harm you mining devices without even paying you good money.

Welcome.

Is that a laptop or desktop? if its on a laptop I don't advise you to mine that. That depends on the algo of that coin, what if you chose to mine a coin that no one really use and there's no volume on exchanges? you're just wasting your time and electricity.

Also mining with CPU? that's not a good idea.

Hi I am new in mining I just need advice I have a core i5 4th gen CPU is it wise to mine a smaller coin to convert it for a bigger coin so I can exchange it for cash to buy a good GPU. I would appreciate good advice thank you
There are some steps to make you sure you are not wasting for money for useless thing.
1 check the coin that make you interested to mine it
2 accumulting how many hash power that will you get through use your GPU
3 accumulating your profitability
4 take your conclusion about how long you will get back your ROI and always consider about the difficulty increase.

If you don't really have a big capital i suggest you just invest and not mining.
Because mining is not all about you buying RIG, but you also need big money for paying it's monthly electricity bills

One of the most important things that you need for mining is the GPU and for now you only have a CPU. So that might be a set back. You could look for other ways to get funds for that cos that's is essential for your mining business. You could invest in coins now or participate in faucets and bounties, so when they yield profits, you could use your earnings to get the GPU.

With only a cpu, you cannot mined any coins, unless you have a anykind of gpu to start to. Mining a coins is not easy as you think, you need to have a good specs of pc or build a mining equiptment which is very expensive right now, it is either of this two, this both are spending alot of money to build up. So as long as you dont have gpu yet to be use, you cannot start mining.

Since you do not have a gpu yet
Simply spend your time and participate in valuable airdrops and commendable bounty programs to get huge tokens then trade them for bitcoin to buy your mining set
