I have been researching this and I think I would like to try mining BTC.  I am currently on my computer mining through minergate, however I am sure I can do better.  I just got a job where I can do the mining electricity free, so I am looking for a faster mining setup if someone could recommend where I can get one or what to get/build.

You can use this one

https://minergate.com/calculator/cryptonote

Then look up exchanges such as Hitbtc, Poloniex, Bittrex or Changelly to determinate your final earnings in bitcoin.

The volume in the poleniex is the largest

You're wrong in this point

Dont worry, your coins will still be credited, just the "count" of shares etc gets restarted.
So If I am correct then the good shares are the number of BCN I am going to receive?

No, the number of shares is just "the number of shares" on a certain difficulty which determines your hashrate. You can use the pool website calculator to determine the BCN you will receive based on your hashrate/network hashrate.
I hate to ask the obvious question and wonder where this pool calculator is located?  I googled it and did not find much.  Also where can i find out where I get paid and how much?  Sorry for asking, just trying to completely understand.

Can someone please explain this to me:

I am mining BCN and I think I understand it, but I am not sure.  When I close the miner, it starts back at zero, so what does that mean?

We truly believe in BCN as the main cryptonote coin, which means the price may be low for now however might go up anytime.
Here is a list of the available miners.

You can also use Minergate's sweet GUI .

You can also try Magnatoj ( XMN ) , a tribute to bytecoin.

Byte coin can be mined by CPU. Some data centres can mine it with "free" electricity. So it is not worth mining it unless you have a very efficient CPU.

How do you determine if you have a very efficient CPU?  I have been messing with Bytecoin and I am building a small amount, but I would like to use what I have to mine faster.  If I mine on multiple computers using the same internet connection, will that be stupid or will that internet connection allow me to mine with a number of computers at the same time?

How can I best mine Bytecoin with my computer.  I would like to mine, but all I have is the wallet and there is no mining options.  Is there a miner I can download and if there are more than one, which one would be better in your opinion.

I am wondering whether or not mining BCN is worth it.  I understand that the price is low compared to what I could get mining BTC, however, I can mine BCn with my computer and make something where I need $200 in equipment in order to mine BTC.  Any opinion.
