Bitcoin mining is no more a casual activity. It is a serious business now and we should leave it for those who treat it in that way. However, if you try to mine alt-coins then you can go with the programs like Minergate where you can start mining altcoins with the available resources but you will need comparatively higher efficient mining hardware to earn profit using it and then you can exchange it with BTC.

Well to be honest it is a little late for mining BTC from a computer. I would not recommend that. Try mining other crypto.

What Pc requirements or  software/hardware pc req is recommendable to mine btc?
I want to start mining but i heard that it requires high system specs so your motherboard won't be toasted. Glad if you can help me. Smiley

When Bitcoin just started many years ago, it was still possible to mine Bitcoin using the ordinary PC but as difficulties of mining increased mining became impossible using PC. Right now, you can buy specific equipment made just for mining and they can be expensive (though you can recoup your investment easily since Bitcoin is rising in value). Now, with PC I heard that you can instead mine other coins. Just search for it somewhere in this forum or in Google for more information. Mining business can be a good way to earn some money especially if your source of electricity can be cheap.

I would definitely research some more on various websites and sources to see what they recommend. Self-research is going to help you improve your learning and grow with your project instead of stumbling along from clear-cut directions from a forum poster.

Look into GPUs!

Agree.

As a little advice, I recommend you if you really want to do mining, research carefuly and start mining other currencies, which for sure will be much more profitable than mining BTC. Nowadays BTC mining is for the mining farms only. Try to find a coin that supports both PoW and PoS mining (if you don't understand what I telling about, search PoW and PoS on Google), it will be even more profitable for you, for sure.

You can either buy Bitcoin ASIC miner to mine bitcoin, or build high end GPU mining rig to mine Altcoin and exchange it for bitcoin in exchanges. You can go to the Bitcoin mining section or altcoin mining section of this forum for more information, or just google it.
