Mining is expensive, you need to pay electricity, mining equipment, and only then you can count on profit. Sell enough to cover your expenses, to buy something for yourself, and what is left try to save (something I don't do, and I don't know how) but as we can see price is rising, and this thread is from last november, now price is three times higher, so waiting was smart thing to do in that moment.
Again it's individual decision, every person here is in different situation. Calculate your monthly expenses, see what you need and do what is best for you. Saving coins for future is good thing for now cause price is rising each year. But not everyone of us can afford to wait that rise.

For me, it's better to sell it all your mining coins, so you don't need scare the price of that coin going down. Just sell it, earn money and mining the coins again.
yeah supposed to be better direct sell to cover the cost of electricity or other things. because of the risk when the price falls you will be losers.
but another thing when you mining altcoin and try your luck to hold until prices rise very high. because altcoin has a very high potential for the price to rise to 200% or more at least.

The thing is, there can never be only one crypto currency in the future, altcoin are destine to support bitcoin and maybe act as an independent project. you're definitely right,some of altcoins are just being made and only live for a short time but there's also some altcoin that could live until now and quite popular and this kind of altcoin will appear day by day and trying to compete against bitcoin,it's about how the altcoin is being developed by the devs

I think that always better to sell your mining coins if you are not in China, taxes is very hard to pay right now and better to have enough money for it.
I sold use the bitcoin I mine to pay for the mining cost. I will hold most of the coin whenever possible as the price will rise in the future.

i mine altcoin and ai save only the better oen the other i dump immediately the one that are more promising are in hold for better time, i do this only with coin that had a pump lately or have a true potential

Thats the main thing to consider when you decide to purchase a coin, when you saw that a certain coin have a potential then proceed to buy and do trades with that coin so that you would gain profits with it. In trading you just buy low and sell high thing. Rinse and repeat then its a sure profit.

I don't agree, I'd sell as much as I need to cover the bills which were made by mining and save the rest of the bitcoins. They are kinda stabelish now but they will go up again for sure.
Well if that person if pointing on upgrades then it's just fine since after all upgrades were completed, all earnings will goes on now for savings.
But anyways people have different preferences on how they will use their mined coins.

Yeah, saving might mean a great future for you. If the same thing will happen as it did in 2013 after the halving, we will all be rich here.
