This looks impressive. I don't really find the user interface so easy for newbies easy navigation. Maybe you can work on that. Asides that, every other property of the mining calculator is good

OK, even if you use this type of a calculator and get the data, how will it help you in reality, bro?
If ASIC eats electricity, it will not stop doing it. I know that some of the calculators that resemble this stuff are available online. By the way, how much money do you pay for electric power? My expenses here are 0.09$/kWh, and it is pretty much.

Each country has a different reality, here in São Paulo, Brazil, the cost of kWh is almost $ 0.20 ... It's really very expensive! Unfortunately, mining is not very feasible.

This sure is a handy tool which would allow miners estimate the cost of their electricity in comparison to the profits they are making with mining whatever cryptocurrency they are mining. I doubt it would be profitable mining bitcoin at this stage.

This too will be very useful and essential for miners cause it will help in maximising profits. If it truly allows miners  to estimate their mining electric cost using the details from the electric bill and rigs, then it is definitely superb.

Fellow miners,

I made this tool last year for openrig.net and ultimately decided not to integrate it.

This is really handy.  We are going to link you directly to https://badcoin.net so people can figure out how much electricity they are using.  Awesome tool.

this will be very helpful for new and old miners, and indeed the user interface is less friendly but it all depends on the taste of each.
I think there are still various kinds of tools that can help miners to be able to get a lot of profits, only this tool is definitely not accurate because of the influence of the conditions in which you are mining.
The calculator to create a speculation to your electricity for mining cost only dude. Remember it will have various additional cost and this is just a speculation based on how much KWH cost that applied in your country.

Unfortunately in the country where I live the cost of electricity is very high, the options for sustainable energy are few. For me, your tool will serve to make a better planning of expenses.

What do you mean by: the influence of the conditions in which you are mining?

Fellow miners,

I made this tool last year for openrig.net and ultimately decided not to integrate it.

mining electric cost calculator Link

It allows you to easily estimate your mining electric cost using details from your electric bill and rigs.

It is built with HTML and jquery 3.4.0.

If you download the Github repo and run it locally in your browser; you can edit the default configuration json(s) (near the top of the file) to allow your configuration to persist.

I appreciate your effort building this tool for miners though it might be ideal if you could provide a more user friendly and intuitive GUI interface for ease of use and also I guess a simple tutorial will be very much appreciated by the community. Smiley

I think the interface is simple; I am open to suggestions for how to make it more intuitive.

I have added more information to the OP, let me know if you think that is effective as a tutorial.

It's good to see the OP has significant improvements over the previous one and is much easy to understand now with descriptions in it. I  think maybe you could put a kilowatt hour unit (KWH) in your "Usage" field like this "Usage in KWH" to make it more specific. And also I was thinking if you could make a list of GPU's with average usage in KWH per day and integrate it into your calculator to have more precise results? I hope I am not being too demanding with it. Smiley

"Usage" field like this "Usage in KWH" : this is easy to change.

Are you talking about a table of information?

Thanks, this is really a very interesting idea, perfect for mining.
I have always been interested in statistics and live data, now I can take it more fully.

This is really nice and also very quite helpful but am thinking that for someone that knows little or nothing about minning that this looks kind of difficult. Have learnt from this. Thanks for sharing

This is good and well done, I would have loved to have a good interface, this is what most good projects in the space are lacking, good projects but bad  for users to use it. Another good example is the Lighting Network, I hope the developers will take these comments and use them to improve the calculator

I think this will be a helpful tool to see the electricity cost your rig, Actually I'm looking for this kind of tool Smiley
Exactly mate you are right and I agree with you. It was quite very helpful for like us who have not much knowledge. Now I can calculate mining electric cost very nicely.

This tool is a very good initiative from you mate. It will be of tremendous help to miners as they wouldn't have to go through all the stress in calculating their electrical mining cost

It's a nice calculation to get out of the Electrical cost. It is possible to get a lot of information out of it.

For the miners, the tools are really good, the electricity bill calculations do record the form every month, and the tools can make more progress. Have a memory function?

I have edited the OP with more information on how to edit the defaults.

As this is meant to be able to be used locally in your browser or via the hosted site; It does not have the capability to save your edits.

As most miners generally retain the same equipment, downloading the GitHub repo and modifying the html file as described in the OP will allow easy calculation of each months usage.

In my own usage of this, I print the page after making monthly modifications to create a record of the usage.
