I am using the very same configuration and getting the same results. I think that all those cards are pretty similar, they have less silicon lottery factor.

Can I ask you about how much did you pay for those?
I am in Europe and It's hard to find them for less than 300$

wow can you share abit about your PSU and riser cable? I tried to overclocked it to 24 Mh and after a week , my riser cable actually got burned and melts  Angry

Sure no problem, I'm using  a Kolink continuum 1200w PSU and 0.3m USB 3.0 PCI-E 1x to16x Extender Riser Card Adapter with SATA Power Cable

Hmm , I am using a 1600 W PSU for 6 P106 , is PSU the culprit for my burning? perhaps I share all my specs and configuration here later

Even 1000w psu is very good for that amounth of cards. There is no point to put 1600w on rig that max tahe from wall about 850w.
And on eth even smaller amounth of power.

So if I use a too high watt PSU will actually damage the rig?

I think your problem was bad risers. Its is the most common problem. buy some good quality ones and try again.

Are there any way to differentiate a good riser and a bad riser? It seems all the same to me haha

Most risers are cheaply made so buy a mid range... I heard the white ones are good too

Just bought some higher pricing looks like good quality one , working fine ...hmm maybe I'm being a cheapskate back then  Grin

No way... that's the difficult trick Sad

I read that the red one are good, and there's even some new ones in white color with 2 different cables (molex + sata)

No. Actually you are saving electricity cause, the highest efficiency you can get from a psu is when is at 40% which means if you have a 1600 watts psu and use 640 watts then your hitting the highest efficiency mark.

I guess his point is why such a great psu for such small power consumption. I myself I'm with him, I would use all available power from it but there is no harm if you use more than 30%. The harm would be to your pocket if you use less than 20% of power available.

With +900 memory, you can do 26 MH/s per card. Not all cards do that, though Smiley

+900 mem is really pushing it. Even if the card appears to work, I wouldn't advise it.

Yes I think +900 mem is pushing it a bit far to be honest.

Averaging at 25mh a card, from my knowledge that is the best a P106 can do.
You're pretty much good to go, mate!

Nice one! I thought so but did read I could get upto 30MH/s overclocking. I tried every overclock setting and best was 25MH/s and low power draw so kept it like that.
