I'm making a list of coins you can mine with GPUs in 2023. I'm talking about solid, chad and based coins, not the grifting ones.

So far on my list there is;

Conflux
Kaspa
Ironfish
Prasaga
Aleo(.)org
Minima(.)Global

Anyone have any other suggestions to add this to the list?

I’ve never heard of any of those coins. I can’t say I’d want to hold anything that I don’t need to use for something. I always say the smart thing to do is to use GPUs to mine BTC using a service like NiceHash. That removes the gambling aspect of holding a coin that’s sole purpose is to pump and hope to sell for more later.
Kaspa price +800% since the beginning of the year, it is hard not to hear about such a coin. And this is a bear market.
At such a time, it is profitable to mine such coins, because their price can go up a lot or video card manufacturers want to pump up the prices of coins for mining. I switched my graphics cards to mining Nexa.

This really depends though.I also think that is a good idea for people who are in only for Bitcoin and this is a great way to little by little get some amount every day with our mining rigs. This was very popular in 2018 and since then the popularity has come on the decrease because of making better crypto rewards by mining directly the coin we are interested.

The gambling side of it can be removed easily now as there are wallets that support at least 500 hundred cryptos and have a built in exchange with low fees, like Atomic wallet for example which if the user wants he can convert to Bitcoin as soon as he makes the minimum amount to do so.

Are you mining those coins?

If the goal is to look for a solid coin, with a future ahead of it, and which is not going to lose almost all its value in some time, I can say Ethereum Classic.
Year after year the coin is still alive, obviously it doesn't have Vitalik's brilliant mind behind it, but it fulfills its role of continuing the original ETH network.
It would be a good choice for a more secure future.

I can also mention RVN - Ravencoin, which since 2018 has remained relevant for miners.
In a likely Bitcoin bull run RVN has good chances (in my opinion) to appreciate quite a bit, as I've seen happen a few times.
As for the ETC I mentioned above, I don't believe it can do more than 2 or 4x of the current price.

If you provide more info about the coins you choose, you can make this thread more relevant
I confess that I know almost nothing about these coins you mentioned: Ironfish and Prasaga

Mining ETC is not that smart in my opinion also as the rewards for 100 Mhsh are just above 0.01 ETC daily usually in 0.012 to 0.014 ETC depending on the difficulty. Most of the miners transferred the ETH hash rate to ETC and that is why the difficulty of it has skyrocketed but the price has remain in the same levels as before the migration of this new hash rate or even worse.

I also agree that without providing further evidence as why the OP is explicitly mining these coins I don't agree that much with that least except for Kaspa which has seen a drastic increase in price lately.

Yeah we have been there in 2015. Most don't remember or went around but GPU mining was a mess. The only way to make a decent profit back then was to wait for some promising coin to hit the Announcement Section, and as soon as it launched you would instamine it while difficulty was low. And usually 25-50% of those coins were listed on Poloniex or Bittrex back then.

And you pretty much sold the top when it launched and rinse and repeat. Only way to make money back then. So many turned off their rigs or they went with BTC ASICs instead. Back then many bought the SP20e or Antminer S5 and they mined, profits were not that great however.

Just look at the convenient statistics on coins on this site
https://hashrate.no/
This is the only site that has been able to beat WhatToMine in my opinion.
But the problem now is the lack of profit for beginners, and many miners turn off the equipment due to low profit
