I did mine on a laptop that had a 980m GTX for almost 8 months straight back in 2015 since I hardly used it. Profit wise it was terrible unless you really didn't care if it broke or not earning maybe 0.0004 BTC a week, though I was pretty surprised my Sager laptop still works today. But yeah now its completely worthless to mine with since its equivalent to an OC-ed 770 GTX

It's not profitable at all and also not worth. If you didn't know mining consumes all the power and the hardware of the system if you mine continuously your laptop might burn your chips and your might never start again. Mining on laptop will cause excess heat by which your laptop can even explode if you wanna mine buy any antman devices there are the most profitable ones

You'll not make any profit mining on a laptop and would rather damage your laptop by melting it.
Now i know that there is no way to mine in laptop because i always searching for mining in laptop but i suddenly stop because i have i feeling that it cant

I always wondered if I have a good gaming laptop, say of around 1k$ and having a good GPU, can I mine some new altcoins.? I am not talking about POS coins. Most of the POS coins are invaluable. Can anyone give me an explanation in detail.?

its possible to mining on any laptop and get a profit?

It is very much possible but because laptops are limited in how much resources can go into mining they are not efficient enough for any profits to be realized.
what coin to be mined with laptop (cpu/gpu) ?
please help me!!
What coins can be mined will depend on the hardware of the laptop itself and difficulty of the cryptocurrency you want to mine.

No, it is a crazy idea, you should terminate it immediately. Mining should not be done on a laptop. It will ruin your laptop. The process of mining will consume a lot of energy and completely destroy the system.

In my opinion, it depends on how fast your laptop is, with some laptop brands you might benefit and you might not with some. You should consider using minergate and mine altcoins, it works for me, probably it might work for you.

I am afraid your laptop mining is just going to cover your electric cost.Just forget it.
You can use your laptop to research the icos, maybe you can find some good ones  to make profit for you.

You make more money selling an old laptop you dont use and buy coins for the "profit" than using it to mine.

They are way too weak, and are not meant for 24/4 load. I ruined a few laptops as various servers like Plex etc over time. fans stopped working and things just fell apart. They last far shorter then you'd thing for those sort of stuff.

Yes it's possible but it is not going to be profitable instead you will just going to destroy your laptop. You should have time to learn more about mining. Mining isn't that something that you can mine from everywhere. The condition is to have better specs and more powerful video cards, GPU, CPU depending on what you will mine.

I often hear about that, but I don't understand how it works, they say must have computer with cpu spec blablabla with a very high price, so my question is whether the result will be more compared to purchasing equipment?

You can mine ArtByte on your laptop, or anything with a CPU, because the ArtByte pool pays a bonus to all miners. You can mine with the builtin pool miner on the wallet. My test laptop is a 9 year old Dell Mini, it mines 30 - 60 ABY a day with under 2.5khs.

See how the bonus works on the ArtByte Forum

it doesn't worth to waste your time , energy and gpu. because you can't change your gpu at laptop.so i think it is a realy bad idea.

You can try but I think its not a good idea to use your laptop to mine because you will not get any profit and the possibility of damaging laptop will be hundred percent. Better invest in mining rig but make sure your electricity rate in your place is low.

There is an youtube video which shows that one can mine Burstcoin on one's android phone. If that can be done, then you might be able to mine burst coins on your laptop and be profitable. Frankly, I didn't try it.
