I've heard about similar projects many times, but I'm rather skeptical about this because the technology is not yet at the level to allow mining with smartphones as effectively as with mining farms.

Haha, that sounds nice. Not sure if there is coin that can be mined with smartphones. I think if it can be bringing to life I'd invest in ICO.

What about Electroneum? I thought it's mineble by mobile phone

This idea is quite interesting, but only on paper, only its idea. In fact, to be engaged in mining on the phone is a waste of time. Whatever your powerful phone, its power can not be compared with the simplest PC, the waste of traffic, battery and resources of the phone will interrupt your POSSIBLE !!! profit. So it's just for fun, do it - spend time and kill your mobile device. It is better to spend this time on a more realistic opportunity to earn, the same bounty.
I didn't try to mine on mobile yet. But I think It is good idea. New young people will have oportunity to earn their first crypto coins  Wink

So there is no profitablity for mobile for mining. And I am not sure that mobile phone is powerful enough to make money with mining.

It seems like an impractical thing, and with questionable results. Probably the only certain result is the destruction of the phone and the battery.

I agree with you. It seems to me that this is a very bad idea. It will destroy your phone and you will not earn anything. Smartphones can not withstand such a heavy load.

Mining on Android and iPhones will be great but these apps will be quite heavy but I don’t think that mobile phone’s hardware will be able to support it.

When you can easily mining using your mobile phone that means your coins will never be expencive. It's not profitable and also not interesting for nobody.

Would you be interested in a cryptocurrency with its own blockchain that can easily be mined on both android and iOS phones?

I am not able to see this as profitable because I am pretty sure you will just ended up to losing interest on it because at the same time you just waste your time/internet/cellphone/battery charge .

Mine on the phone? Are you seriously? I think that this is just someone's unsuccessful joke, which today can come to life. You just say so and many will just start creating special phones for that right away. I think that this is a sad prospect.

I don't. I prefer on pc, cause what you get won't as big as you mining on pc. The difference specification between pc and mobile phone are relevant to mining and it is important too. Pc is better for mining than mobile phone.

I think Mining with car phones is very different because it is more practical and very innovative but risky because mobile devices are not designed for mining, while mining requires a large device. Can be mined with mobile phone but the result is not maximal and will make the phone so damaged.

I know someone already tried to do so, bought 200 smartphones, launched it, and it did not work, but I don't remember from what.

I think mining on the mobile phone will only destroy itself because it will damage the mobile phone and caused by non-qualified specifications such as computers
