I can’t say how long a mobile device would last under that kind of load, but I can’t imagine it would hold up well at all.
In my experience, the cheap ZTEs I used for mining Perk would last about 6 months. Back then (2 years ago), it only took a week to break even so it was a good investment.

I think the Electroneum project has been developed entirely for this purpose. If Electroneum's project takes place we will be able to mining with our phones. I suggest you investigate Electroneum.

Yes, electroneum is worth a try. I've been waiting for the mobile miner since 1st proposed launch date.  Grin

Yes, that is the only project I know, too. We just have to wait for hackerone to finish their audit.

Any android or Iphones will not provide you with the proper horsepower regardless of the spec to mine on any kind of crypto-currency. Even before you could have your first cent your phone will just overheat even if you have the fabled $1000 Iphone X and if you do have that kind of money it is much preferred to get a mining rig around that same price for starters in which you would already have at least 2 or 3 GTX 1060 6gb or a RX 580 8gb.

So tempting believe me, but nah not worth the risk. By the way, if everyone can do that using phone, less fun 😟

I know there are projects developed for this. Even after entering the stock market, the price was very high. People are now spending more time on the phone and computer mining will make sense because telephone will take their place.

Such questions on the forum was already very much. I think this question can be put in the top in order that it is not repeated. Remember once and for all. Mining on smartphone, computer and laptop not the best. It only destroys your equipment. It is impossible for a production car to win a race in formula 1.

How much do you need to destroy the phones before you earn at least the minimum to pay out of the pool?

Complete waste of time and great possibility to kill your phone if you try to mine on it.

So far there are no "phone miners" that were able to create profits.

It's not real. How can you be so gullible? Computing power your phone will never be enough to match the GPU. You'll just mess up your phone. But it is only in the best case. In the worst option for you, you can get the spy. Never install to the phone the suspicious software.

Mining in your smart phone or any phone with good specs it is real?

I discovered mining site yesterday "https://genbtc.com/" . If this is a legit site for mining it is possible to mine bitcoin in our phone. Bitcoin will be generated depending on the of how much bitcoin you set. Is anyone knows if this site is legit ? Thank you!

But in the other legit site I knew, it is impossible to use our phone in mining. Just use your desktop but be sure that it is a high-end computer
That page is the simplest scam, fake gui that don´t do any thing and you have to pay fee to the miner to confirm

You should check out http://electroneum.com/2017/11/21/electroneum-update/

You will be able to mine with your phone, I believe we should be keeping an eye on this one.

They hired hackerone to audit

You’d be lucky to find a type of crypto that you could mine with a mobile device that would generate even pennies per month.

I don't see how mining on any phone would be profitable and I don't want an added risk of security breach on my phone. Just doesn't seem worth it.
Yes it seem not worth it but its legit or not hehe
