I put coinhive on one of my websites to test it out, but some browsers are starting to flag it, causing trust issues with users.
It didn't make very much, like $20 over the course of a month, and this is on a website with thousands of daily visitors.
I think the only way it could make decent money is if you have a ton of traffic, and I am talking hundreds of thousands a visitors per day.
Else its not worth it.

Something is not right

when you have a ton of traffic basically you have a decent and good site

As you've observed not only the users browsers flagged those mining scripts embedded but also with AV's

as a result, your site visitors would probably decreased compromising web traffic into small profits on web mining

If the site is a selling web, that is a bad in business

If you want to generate income for your website then using secret miners like Coinhive just isn't gonna do it. They're flagged because people have been abusing their use. The only way to do it is to use something that's totally transaparent with your users, otherwise you're shooting yourself in the foot.

It's not browser based but honeyminer might be interesting to look into.
It's an app you download and it can mine both CPU and GPU

There are many good browser-based cryptocurrency mining in the modern technology. I highly recommend you the Bitcoin Plus, it's old and implemented way back 2011 when Bitcoin is very cheap.

It has a new reincarnated browser-based cryptocurrency mining called coinhive. As usual, it's a javascript code used to mine you own rig using browser. We also know that these javascript codes are embed to your webpage or any application to make the visitor/user mine for them.

I tested the mining through the browser and I can write this: if I myself will mine, I can not even make coffee. If you find 1000 active referrals, then the profit will be good.

Hello People!
May i ask is there any legit trustable web mining place?
As I Experience Coin allow users to mine on browser https://pool1.xpcoin.io/
So i would like to mine other coins anyone?

Have you tried CoinHive? There's a news that it's generating $250,000 worth of Monero every month and most of it going to just 10 individuals. Research reveals that Monero accounts for 75 percent of all browser-based cryptocurrency mining.

You can always have a look at this source to see all the options available: https://bitcoincloudmining.org/en/cpu-webmining-javascript-mining-browser-mining/
My favourite is Moonify who have a nice revshare model (70% goes to you and the rest goes to your users).

JSE coin is the only one that looks promising to me. can either mine it directly in your browser or add the java extension to your website and visitors can opt in to mine for you. Mining uses about 10% CPU so browsing performance is not impacted much if any. Plus there's no advantage for having better hardware/higher hashrate as the system only accepts a maximum of 1 share per miner per 30 second block.

Browser miners tend to be inefficient compared to dedicated mining software and generally not worth the effort you put in setting one up. You'll be earning pennies a month after electrical costs, and that's if you happen to be using a modern processor, and it isn't power hungry.

I'm not completely sure about browser miners, but most CPU miners allow you to adjust the number of threads/cores you use while mining, so it may be possible to mine on a select number of threads so you aren't left with an unusable PC. Still isn't really worth it in the end IMO, as you won't be making a lot mining through your browser, even if the coin you're mining jumps in price.

If you're truly interested in mining, I suggest saving money for a basic GPU rig or ASIC, and then buying one and setting it up. It'll be more worthwhile than browser mining, but if you go with this route, recognize the risk you are taking by buying mining rigs. There's no guarantee you'll make a profit, let alone break even.

Lots of them tend to have malware attached to them. Also, if you're using a heavy browser like Chrome, it tends to be extremely hard on your computer and render it unusable until you stop mining. It's not something you can just do in the background unfortunately.

I don’t recommend you to waste time trying to mine in the browser. Too low profit for this, you will not even see it after several days of mining. This makes sense only for large networks of bots.

There are a few ways to mine using your browser (CPU mining) but it will not be as lucrative as using a proper mining app like XMRStak or XMrig.
I would suggest looking into these ways of mining. I also have a thread about this here: [CryptoNight] CPU mining guide & coins that will get you a return

This is the best one around https://crypto-webminer.com/ they also have an app for iphones, and likely androids(I haven't looked).

I've seen a lot of them come and go, https://cpufan.club used to be good, but it seems to be down.

There's always coinpot.co mining, but they're mining XMR and then giving you your desired coin, so I'm sure they're shaving some off of the top(why wouldn't they?). Also freebitco.in does mining, but I don't think mining bitcoin(or anything paying you out that infrequently is worth it). You need something that will pay out quickly(if it takes more than a week to get a payout, it loses its appeal in my experience).

CPU mining isn't really worth it, but I find it to be fun. In most cases its easier to download a miner and just mine the CPU coin directly, https://cryptoknight.cc/ is a good resource for some CPU minable coins and zero fee pools, just pick the one you like and go to the get started page and see if you can figure out how to mine it on your PC.

Happy mining!

I've just already googled it , and found many web-miner infos available, either legit or just scam.
But usually it only give us very small profit.
Another option, you can rent some hash from hash services provider

Right now mining on CPU gives small profit. If you are using browser, mining profitability is few times less so forgot it. It is profitable only in large scale as for some internet sites with coinhive miners.

JSEcoin https://jsecoin.com is a web platform built on top of a browser mined blockchain aiming to reduce the amount electrical power and includes merchant tools to receive crypto payments and subscriptions by using JavaScript browser miner to mine cryptocurrency online.
Anyone with a website or web browser can now mine JSEcoin cryptocurrency. No more complicated line instructions to execute...no need to install any program...simply enter your wallet address, choose a mining pool and start mining coins directly from your web browser!

You can mine from Desktops, Laptops, Tablets, Phones and even smart TV-s. Mining for everyone and from any device with a reduce electricity consumption!

Any browser supporting JavaScript could be used for coin mining, and services soon arose to use the process for the monetisation of websites. Reduced to its simplest, the mining process represents arithmetic instructions executed in order to solve a pre-defined piece of a puzzle. This can hardly be considered malicious on its own.

JSEcoin is the most effective web miner on the market with the highest mining ratio. It pays per solved hash. The pay-outs rate is adjusted automatically every few hours based on the global difficulty of the network and the average reward per block.

To achieve wide mainstream adoption of self-mining there is need for a system which is accessible and friendly usage to everyone… JSEcoin is such a system (https://jsecoin.com)
