eh no. a ponzi scheme isn't THIS linear. also markets have nothing to do with ponzi schemes. buying high and then selling low in a panic attack is a whole different story.

You get my point, the idea of a ponzi is to build up trust and reward the "early adaptors" and when the masses start to invest you screw them.
Although the stock market in general is driven more by psychology than ponzi, the end result is the same - the masses lose in the end.
Facebooks IPO was the exception - the historys biggest ponzi with Zuckerberg as mr Pump & Dump.
