In fact, it could be anything. Perhaps this is some kind of malware that somehow prevented the sending of your bitcoins. Therefore, you should always carefully check the wallet address and the authenticity of the site you are visiting.

most likely indeed that is what happens because now there are so many malware viruses circulating in phishing sites, which allows not only coins to be lost but all important data will be easily retrieved.
We recommend that you double-check the computer that is used to transfer the coin, it is possible that the malware has attacked the system.

Maybe a little strange, because First I just saw a case like this in a coinbase transaction. The experience was a little different when I traded in a P2PB2B exchange, when I made a deposit I did not find the amount I transferred. Apparently there is a minimum limit for deposits. But I thank you for this, at least this will be a new experience for me when doing the same thing in a coinbase exchange.

So my BCH has just reappeared in my wallet, no reply from coinbase yet but I guess it was a fault of theirs after all.
I'm happy for you for getting back your bch because it could have gone like that but I will like to make a point that one need to be conscientious enough while dealing with Crypto because once it's gone, its gone forever you cannot retrieve it and not even the admin can reverse it

The transaction Id is from me sending the coins from coinbase to my wallet and although it shows a different address to my wallet, the coins did arrive and were visible in my wallet.

I then sent them back to coinbase but they did not arrive, there is no transaction id and they are no longer visible in my wallet.

I think there may be some sort of problem with the coinbase wallet app.

Will have to wait for response from coinbase.

Hey i'm a crypto newbie and I recently bought some BCH from coinbase then transferred it to my coinbase wallet app on my phone. I've since tried to transfer it back to my coinbase account in 2 separate transactions and they have not arrived. I can't find any trace of the transactions from my wallet app to my coinbase account. I can see the transactions from coinbase to my wallet but for some reason the addresses are not the same as the addresses in my wallet app. I used my phone to scan the qr codes when sending back to coinbase so not sure how I could have sent them to the wrong address.
Can somebody help me find out whats happened and where my BCH has went?
I don't think it is possible to send a coin to an address and not see it unless you send it to an address you don't own which would be very bad because in the crypto space it is not possible to recover a coin sent wrongly, this is why everyone is always advised to check the address over and over again before sending coin to avoid sending to an unknown address. What I advise you to do now is to double check the address you sent the coin too via the blockchain explorer to see if you really sent it to your wallet or not.

Yes i will wait for response from coinbase support.
I don't believe it is malware attack because there is no trace of the coins leaving my wallet.

Ia very strange and i think you should also try to contact coinbase, as i see on coinbase every time i send bitcoin they give me a new address to send, and the old address can still be used to deposit on account, but if you have malware on phone or on pc then when paste is the attacker address.

The fault is from you because you mistakenly send the bch to wrong addresses or your phone get hacked by malware and your address was changed ,there is no solution to this ,the coins are gone ,be careful next time and sorry for your lose

It seems to me that there is a risk that you are mistaken. Let's say they scanned the wrong code or something else. Perhaps accidentally changed the billing address. Now it is better to solve this issue with 2 support services. But you must be completely sure that this is the wallet.

all my transactions from my coinbase wallet app to my coinbase account seem to go through different addresses before ending up in my account.

I currently have this ETC transaction pending

http://gastracker.io/addr/0xcb302b800d8f06364a1855caac22a38938add91f

the transaction ID shows it is being sent to 0x1FF51fCbec7f416552Da9FBDEe404084C38E99

but my coinbase address is 0xb7da38274d8cFA139F1C8b13510E5c774c9250AF and I can see the transaction is pending there.

If it was malware then I don't understand how it showed up in my phone wallet at all in the 1st place  Huh
I saw that the number of BCH you sent is still placed in the receiving address.
So I think the problem here is  your computer has been attacked by a Clipboard Hijacker.

I'm sure its the official coinbase and coinbase wallet apps i have. Have contacted coinbase support so guess I will just have to wait for their response. I Have been sending and receiving other coins no problem just my BCH has vanished for some reason.
Im not sure your balance could be recovered, which those transactions have been confirmed. Since all the system coinbase does good, no problem or bug except only you. Sorry about your lost.

I am a bit lost so I hope this makes more sense to you than me,
I transferred 0.04132559 BCH and 0.04436424 BCH  from my coinbase account to my coinbase wallet app on my phone in 2 seperate transactions.
747b734ddee7680999ce48e00616d5ba04347091e15d53d3acb50c06f390814a
510d8fc8e475412671ed3be726c37a2f62875080387b2db99dfeffde9c19473c
However the receiving addresses from these transaction ID's are not the receiving address I have on my coinbase wallet app on my phone.
I did receive these transactions on my phone wallet though.
My receiving address on my phone wallet is
qr6g6263367njnw33g5meh3hs54znseqpssawadhdr
1QKwBkRZfkKxsvSpLmW4eXNdF49uGJLgn9
I then transfered my BHC from my phone wallet back to my coinbase account address which is
qzejczlz3uwumpg3e4xu5exy0sw04t7rlclvqpqe6c
1HLNijk8hXmjhHraJPPimv1T4uT44JHRj9
It never arrived and I can't find any transaction Hash Id's for the address on my phone or my coinbase account.
 Huh
When sending the coin back to my coinbase account i used my phone to scan the QR code.
I have noticed when I put my receiving address from my phone into https://explorer.bitcoin.com/bch
it gives me a different legacy address
instead of 1QKwBkRZfkKxsvSpLmW4eXNdF49uGJLgn9 which is what is shown on my wallet on my phone
I get 1PJ4zR6nePTV81aZJcK8XZAbighN9aWZHi
If that is was "Hijacking" may a problem on your computer or keyboard. But if you get many of address with different QR, possibility not.

Are you sure already download "Offcial Coinbase on your device" ?

Sorry about this, it was once discussed here that before finally sending your coins to a new destination, you must ensure to preview the address to see it tallies with the original one, this can be done by checking the first 4 and the last 4 letters to avoid been changed by a malware. It does happen.
