The pool was down today due to a hardware issue on the server hosting the front end to the pool. This meant the web interface and the non-tor stratum server was down. Miners using the tor interface were able to continue. The hardware issue is resolved and the pool is back to being fully operational.
To prevent this from impacting operations in the future I'm going to spin up a couple of extra servers in different locations as fallbacks. This will enable non-tor miners to use these if the main one goes down. I'll post back here when this is done. I hope to have this up in 24-48 hours.

i have no idea how to mine with tor do i have to have tor installed on my pc to point miners there?
I don't think you need the Tor browser installed. If you have command line access to cgminer, I think you just use the 'usewithtor' command and the mmpool Tor address. February 07, 2015, 11:55:31 AM

yeah The ddos attacks come when we get over 60% cdf more often then when we are low cdf like 20%. I guess they figure the miners are more invested now after buying hash or hashing for a week and no payout.
it does hurt when you dump money in and then ddos makes people leave and 200 hour block takes 1300

The site is available via Tor @ phkttm64gbquasaq.onion I don't know if mining on Tor is up. I'm not sure I can configure my miners to usewithtor via the GUI interface, and will wait a bit longer before giving the command line a go.

Someone put in some huge power yesterday, saw 1PH on the pool! At 1ph, there should be a block per 48hrs.

Why is there such a huge variance in stats between the members page and statistics page? Which page is more accurate? I am assuming it is the statistics page because the round time is higher?

Block 341170 was found by db694de1 earning them an extra 0.025 BTC in transaction fees.
Edit: Waiting for transactions to get into a block that can top up the hot wallet. It's currently low so if you are unable to withdraw, try again after a block or two is found on the bitcoin network. Sorry about the delay!
