The connection error was an api problem with the old pool code, he must not of updated the code yet.
http://mnt.extremepool.org has updated code.

Yea, I updated the code today - didn't realise that there were more changes made to the system, that changed the way it worked.

I'll have to find some time to rewrite the HTML page to factor in these changes when I get chance. Ultimately, this won't affect payouts - not that any can happen with I believe your pool rewriting all of the blocks we find and making them orphans! (Kinda feels pointless trying to support cryptonight coins at the moment with this unreliability).

> Why would anyone mine on your cryptonote pools when you don't know how to troubleshoot issues?  I was mining a different coin and I never received the payout.

If I recall, that coin was Orion Coin - one that was full of bugs and ultimately one we have rightfully decided to discontinue. We sent the coins you mined, and if you never received them, it was probably because the orion coin blockchain is very buggy, and only the biggest pool that had all the hashrate was able to provide a stable payout - this is not an issue with the pool, but with the coin itself.

Your response to my pm was lacking any concern.  You basically just shrugged your shoulders and said oh well.

On the contrary, I explained that it was totally out of my control. Did you contact the coin devs about the bugs to receive your coins from them?

Ultimately, that coin was a total waste of time for everyone. I am sorry that you have been left with a bad impression, but short of modifying the coin itself and forking a new blockchain - there was nothing I could do to recover your coins.

Scam coin, devfee is too much, i'm mined with 30 R9 280x for 22hours and they will pay for me only 100 MNT. I'm out.
I'm mined with 1 CPU (190 h/s) for 2 hours =~2.8 mnt

Just because it has a low block reward doesn't make it a scam. There are plenty of real scams to complain about.

Too many orphans because all miners are on one Pool. Spread the hash to other pools!

Why would anyone mine on your cryptonote pools when you don't know how to troubleshoot issues?  I was mining a different coin and I never received the payout.  Your excuse was that it said it had been sent and that there was nothing you could do.  Well obviously something was wrong with your pool because I didn't receive the coins.  I received coins from a different pool using the same address.

Your response to my pm was lacking any concern.  You basically just shrugged your shoulders and said oh well.

That's why I won't mine on your pool.

I also mining  on this pool, and have not received payment - orioncoin

..also,
- Your payouts page is buggy for me. When I view it the page does a constant callback/refresh and flickers.
- Why does my stats say "Connection error"?

The payouts page is not for cryptonote coins.

For clarification:
The cryptonote coins all run on NOMP, and do not interface with the rest of the website - the payouts page, etc - do not work for Cryptonote coins.

Don't you think that's worth mentioning on the website, like on the payouts page?
And do you know why my statistics say "Connection error"?

I tried to connect and got a Connection Refused response. Maybe that's why there are 0 miners in the pool?

That's only cos I was updating the block hash reward calculation - it was down for like 2 minutes (bad luck in your timing). Try again now!

In. Only because I want to help the coin. The last time I used your pool I never received payouts, I'm going to give it couple of blocks this time and see how it goes.
