Sorry, but I'm not buying it. Sounds a lot more like a butthurt mem than a shill.

Id also like to  note that every topic started in the gambling sub forum to warn against such an obvious scam was promptly buried in moved to Service Discussion.

Matthews own thread was reported numerous times, yet the mods allowed such an obvious scam to perpetuate.
Same as pirate@40...............

Viscious defender of Matthews Scam while it was going.

It is needless for an indivual to do so when we already have reputable sites setup to host these bets.

I guess we should close up #bitcoin-otc too since there are sites setup to trade coins.   Roll Eyes

there is a large difference between trading, gambling and "gambling via insecure and unaccountable methods".

If you need more information on the subtle differences Id be happy to elaborate.

No, whether you're "Trading" or "Gambling", its the same thing.  At some point, someone's gotta pay and the counter party has already done their part and the only thing holding them to it is their honor.

So you would say that betting at the TAB is the same as betting a large unsecured amount with a random guy at the pub is the same as trading at wall street ?

1 of these things is not like the other, one of these things is not quite the same... do de do do do

Whether you're trading on a website or with a third party, you still have to trust them.  Just because you don't like Matthew doesn't mean he won't honor his obligations.  In fact, he's been around longer than your various 'safe' sites and AFAIK, he's yet to default.  So how exactly are your websites any safer?

More specifically, why should n00bs trust you over someone else, Mr. I just registered 4 months ago?

The fact that you trade with randoms to a degree of success on #bitcoin-otc speaks well for its community but offers absolutely 0 accountability.

Randoms?  They're established identities no less than your sites are.  What info do your sites publish as to who they are?  Has that info been vetted or is another Tom Williams and all the info is just fake?

There are others, but imho imsaguy is either a dangerous idiot or a shill or Matthew.

Given Matthews personality type, he most likely has multiple accounts lurking to defend himself and promote his latest shitty exists only in name businesses.
