Well, I very much doubt that there in the 7th century after Christ, whether in Europe or the Muslim world or other places, many people very particularly concerned about paedophiles, especially since they had no idea that the concept existed in the first place. It was a brutal world, life was worth very little. And it was usually pretty short.
