Monero is 20% down , because btc went down and thus a whole market do the same . It's a best anonymity cryptocurrency but despite this it is difficult to predict its relevance in the market and its price. It is a more risky asset than bitcoin or ethereum and investing in it you need to be prepared for anything, because no one knows what awaits anonymous coins in the future
I am still not optimistic about buying Monero for now. When bitcoin shows great movement these days, it's not the right time to buy now. I prefer ethereum and BCH. At least that's what I think has a good chance this season.
Monero has always been a decent coin, I know this %20 would be affecting the future possible profits but right now bitcoin is making a decent run and I doubt the altcoin rally will start anytime soon.

Monero is a great coin with continuous development but 20% drop in price might not be the best time to enter the market because btc experience some sharp draw down in price both yesterday and today; no one is sure of what next.

not only Monero, but in my opinion almost all Altcoin prices go down including the price of Bitcoin and in my opinion, rather than you investing in Monero, you better choose to invest in Binance, because I'm sure Binance price will recover faster and increase higher than Monero. so if you invest in Binance, the profit you earn will be greater than you investing in Monero.

If the BTC continues to increase, I believe that altcoin and Monero will fall much deeper than before. Don't buy now and be patient, altcoin is bleeding and you'll lose money if you buy them now im prefer to buy more on etherium, if you really want invest, hold your eth and btc until 2021, you will get big profit like 2017 did.
Same opinion as him OP monero is not a good coin for me but on other parts its a decent coin still ethereum is greater you should all in your funds or have at least 50% of your total funds for buying ethereum
Monero is a good project, but to make money on investments in monero, it did not work for me. I use this coin to pay for some services and that's it.

This time is not good to buy altcoin. BTC is still showing signs of growth, Dominance is also growing. Every glimpse is pouring into BTC, so it's risky to invest in Monero or any other altcoin.
You can spare some money for monero. But this 20% drop should not trigger your greed. You should make your investment choice more carefully. There are so many coins available in the market.

Just something is not going right with many altcoins as even if you see Gas is down a lot though btc is rising a lot but it’s reciprocal effect cannot be seen in altcoins to rise like the btc rose from 4K to 12 k level . Hopefully it will cover up soon .
I already have invested some in the bear season. I don't think it's time to invest in top coins. I'm now preparing for investing in some of trash, to be honest, because after the bullrun, I think those trash will give me better profit.
