I see that Monero is trading over $300 and there's only 18 million coins. I would assume that it has a chance to run up to $3-$5 grand per coin. Is it a good buy at its current price and where do you see it going? Thanks!!
This coin has good potential in crypto market. Now some issues are occur in the market this is affected in monero value. But surely it will develop soon in the market so it make 2x profit also possible in this year end. So majority of the competitors are investing this coin but some peoples are jumped in alternative platform because they don't believe the cryptocurrency strategy.

That coin gets dumped a lot though the prices remain stable with their walls. I think that it could get to $1,000 easily.

Monero is king of privacy and probably will remain that way despite coins like verge, deeponion and xspectre looking to compete with them. The main thing I see holding Monero back is that I don't feel as though too many people are that bothered about their privacy and so I don't see it gaining mass adoption.

I'd guess that's possible.
It's hands down the king of anonymous transactions and has been proven, the Wannacry hackers moved their bitcoins to monero and successfully disappeared with the money. Every other coin is playing catch-up.

I noticed that most of the top 15 coins/tokens had a period of stagnation when looking at the relative growth compared to others with exception of a short period of time when the coin went upwards. For Monero this happened during the period of last November and December when it rose up in value around 3,5 times. After that it went "stable" again.

If we take aside general trend for a moment and just look at it's scarceness and value compared to Ethereum, it has a room for self correction of 27,5x upwards. However, in order for it too accomplish at least some of this that, it should show some real development and adoption. The only "ace in the slave" that I see for Monero currently is unfortunately coming from the dark side. Since it's main focus is anonimity it could be accepted and used on the Darknet. Hence I am, despite it's potential, not very keen to support it, but for the speculative purposes it is very interesting. On the other hand, a lot of other, smaller coins, are as well.

There is definitely a chance for Monero to grow. It is the one of the
preffered coins for anonimity and this feature will always have a
demand.

Personally i was going to buy more Monero at $94 not so long ago,
actually not even 3 months ago but it surged to over $300 and
has not returned back. I bought more now before the ciming upturn.

I think it is a real solid coin with good adoption already.

Do not ride into a running train or else you can get rekt,XMR is a great coin but it seems it is somehow outdated with these new privacy coins. You can try XSPEC for now it is very cheap but after sometime it would be like XMR it has more advance technology and has potentials to grow what i like about spectrecoin,it has Native Tor Integration. preserves network privacy and protects users against surveillance,by keeping traffic within the Tor network at all times.OBFS4 Bridge Support facilitates undetected use in countries that block Tor,such as China & Iran.
Why you said monero is outdated coin,I think still it is the best anonymous coin and most under valued coin yet.Soon the price may shoot up on monero. And I heard that forked coin from monero is cheap and more anonymous than its original. But still there is no clear about that coin,so if that is true investing on that coin is a great choice.

I like monero and some of these reasons made me invest in monero.
It is being used already.
The best anonymous altcoin.
On its way to become user-friendly.

The better targets would be either ZEC at 450$ or DASH at 750$

These are the incumbents to beat in the anonymous sphere. There is also a LOT of new coins that have better anonoymous protocols. The competition is incredibly stiff.

Both ZEC and DASH are well known for nefarious dev/founder practices, so there is definitely room for Monero to grow and it should be happening anytime now. Not sure about the Monero target, 1600$ seems achievable, for anything more - huge spurt adoption needs to happen, which I don't see in anonsphere.

You should definitely check some younger zcash and dash forks.
