Hi there! I just need your advice. I invested the money instead of paying my school fees. Yeah, i know this is wrong because education is more important to us and it can't be stealed from us, i'm still studying but my fees will be doubled on the next payment. But i believe this will end a good result. What do you think about this ? Your advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks!
First of all, you should only and always do what you believe is the best for you. Nobody here has a crystal ball that can tell what's going to happen with Bitcoin, so anyone criticizing you for this decision, or praising you because you'll be in profit have no clue what they're talking about, and you shouldn't give their "advice" any validity or let it affect how you decide to move forward with Bitcoin.
Here's a very important question for you: What are you doing with the Bitcoin you invested in? Are you simply holding it? Are you planning on short trading and arbitrage to make a profit?
Given that you used your money to buy bitcoins rather than further your education, there's a small greed factor of expecting returns for buying the Bitcoin. My advice to you is that since you've already invested in it, you should now use your time wisely in order to learn about the many ways you can use your current investment to make more money.
The exchange markets are comparable to the penny stocks in the United States in the late-80's. It's like the Wild West, and you can make a HUGE profit, but the risk is extremely high. You'd be aligning and associating yourself with shitcoins that were designed solely for pumping and dumping, but if you're able to sleep at night, a few hours of research everyday about new shitcoins could potentially lead to you short-trading your way into deeper pocketbooks.
Since you won't be going to school next semester, you should look into ways of earning crypto by spending time online. There are different ways to earn bounties, and you'll find many sources here in these forums.
If you're proficient in web tech and development, you can easily create a website where you offer links to sites where others can earn bitcoin for free. Most of these sites (faucets) have referral programs that pay a percentage of what your referral claims, and if you build a referral network of thousands, you could easily make a few bucks a week. More if you know what you're doing. At one point, I referred over 6,000 to a faucet site, and I was earning $80-100 per WEEK from that one site alone. This takes a good amount of your time and knowledge (to make sure that you're not referring users to scam sites or sites that do not pay), but could be profitable if you know how to juggle your earnings vs. investments in ads and marketing services.
Now, for my personal opinion about your decision to invest rather than going to school? Kudos to you. You obviously have a grandeur vision about bitcoin and (hopefully) its technology. I'm a high-school drop-out, and I realized that I possessed the fundamental knowledge of what school teaches you to prepare you for the real world:
- Discipline: How to create and follow your own schedule, and apply your discipline to maintain everything in your life, such as your job and any extracurricular activities.
- Social Interaction: How well you interact with others.
- Practical Application of Knowledge: possessing the gumption to know how to utilize your knowledge of what you've learned and apply it towards the best situation outcome of whatever you experience on a day-to-day basis.
If I leave you with anything, please remember this, as it's a mistake that a lot of people generally make when it comes to crypto: If it sounds too good to be true, then it more-than-likely is. Stay away from sites and services that offer you any return on your investment. There's no way that any company can GUARANTEE you a return, and any site that claims that they can is a ponzi scheme. This includes cloud mining sites.
With that said, welcome to the world of crypto, and I wish you the best! Surf around the forums here; there is a TON of knowledge and some pretty awesome people that can help point you in the right direction!
