Isn't health also considered to as a source of wealth? And do you think you still can invest if you have a poor wealth? I bet not anymore, also not all investments are about money and it is still possible to produce money later on even if we don't have it right from the start. Not all that we buy can be considered to as our wealth, I'm talking about the food and other things that can easily come and go.

Even though there are other systems apart from exchange, indeed that they can still be controlled or manipulated by money, which is sad. Not all rich people are considered as a ' well-to-do ' but in fact, many of them are the opposite of that. Most of the times if who is considered to be poor, they are also the ones that have a good heart and do things fairly in life.

It cannot be denied that money is something that is really needed by everyone who still lives in this world and is in an environment where everything has to be bought. But you also have to realize that in life there are also things that money cannot buy even though you have a lot of money in this life. But in order to achieve all the dreams that you say, of course you have to do it through money because what you mentioned are things that have to be paid for with money, so if you only pursue those things, of course you have to have a lot of money. But honesty, trust and empathy from the people around you will be difficult to buy with money if the people around you no longer like you.

That's the reality of things, if you don't commit to your philosophy of money is just a material thing and it's just a fickle matter to argue about it then you will starve and you would probably blame that philosophy when you become that one. Money makes you happy, the saying that it doesn't is just a false narrative perpetrated by the rich people so the poor people wouldn't ask for more or become too ambitious, they really want all the money for themselves and the longer that people will believe that saying, the more the poverty all over the world would never end. Sure there are things that you can do that doesn't involve money but think about this, why not get the best of both worlds?

When there is financial needs it seems money is every thing but at end of getting the money you will find out that there is really nothing in the money. You have to decide whether you will be happy or not because currently the world is not a too good place everything in it revolves around money but when you find these money and along the line you loss the real things that matters such as family, happiness, health etc then you will realise that money isn't everything.

You can make the world a happy place for you, it all depends on you. 

Modern money is debt, write that down because its something if we ever forget it can bankrupt us all.   We can save our whole lives, all the earnings and it can end up zero.    Thats what happened to the old Russian Ruble, it has an exchange rate of 10,000 to 1 with the new Ruble.    Some guys who knew that paradigm and a few others used the upset to their advantage, a few gained control of some of the largest oil and gas companies across Russia which means billions in wealth.   Entirely unfair but thats what reliance on government money will get you, its massively favored to the largest players who love debt and hold cash purely in appearance to buy up genuine productive assets performing long term.

Wealth is having no bills because you paid off all future costs that you can do.   Most commonly that would be owning a house but there's many other possibilities to owning good assets usually with more risk but also more performance.  Im still unsure if owning shares works out in shareholders favor during a failure of the FIAT monetary standard.   It seems to be an uneven road so often and with great upset and losses in the economy it might just mean shares stay flat with no real gains; this was the study conclusion I read on money vs stocks vs bonds vs gold comparatively.

Money can't buy you true happiness but before you say this make sure you you already made some money yourself. There are some things that money can't buy but there are many things that having money will make you privileged to have control over them so money is definitely important and a necessity to have. If you have money, you can control your life by having a better health insurances, car insurance, house insurance and other insurance that can make your life more protected. You might not need this insurance because you can't afford to pay for anything that you want. The treatment that you'll be receiving for being wealthy is different from what others will be receiving.

So while money mightn't be everything in life, it's an important thing to own. It's better you own it and you don't need it then when you need it but you don't own it. We should make money, what life is all about but we shouldn't neglect having money either. It's best you own it and you give them away to charity or other no profitable courses but always know money/wealth is necessary.

However, majority of us now only become happy and joyful if they have gained a lot of money. Although not actually the biggest wealth for us, but it’s always been the highest necessity. Let’s admit it that no one can survive without the need of money, or if they will survive, they are unhealthy and not on their best version.

But I also agree on you when you say money is not the only one needed for existence. We need love, affection, and security not to be harmed, but still money will always be a big part for our existence.

You said you agreed that money can't buy happiness, but if I were to ask you, did you know what poverty is really called? Have you ever witnessed poverty? If you know the answer to these two questions, you will never agree to that proverb because I take that proverb as just a motivation for the poor people in other countries to be happy with the situation they are in. If not, can you be happy with hunger?

To clarify this proverb, most of these wealthy and rich people who always say that money cannot bring happiness do so because they have never witnessed or listened to the story of a poor man or even witnessed How the poor survive on a daily basis is  because most problems of the rich are emotional, which might be a result of not having a child that will inherit their wealth, having some problems with their businesses and investments, or the fear of poverty. But for the poor, he is always physically,mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and socially not well. That is why you will never understand what poverty is unless you witness it yourself.

People who say that money isn't wealth are lying. Most of people's problems today can be solved by money, the rest can be solved by common sense. If you don't have the money in this day and age, you are forced to live life restrictively, only choosing your needs and will have no room for leisure.

Rich people who say that money isn't everything just don't realize how privileged they are because they don't know what it's like down here. Give them at least a month of living their lives as a commoner and you'll easily see them begging to have their lives back.

While it is true that money isn't everything, it's also true that it occupies a huge part of people's lives and enable us to do the things we want to do without worrying at all.

Not having what kind of calm? If someone has billions of dollars, of course he will employ someone as a bodyguard to look after his family. Yes, many rich people seem to pretend to be poor. They know that crime will always be there at any time. That's why they don't want to be seen conspicuously by local residents.

It's true that money can buy everything, but in my opinion, family, children and the friendship of loyal friends are difficult to buy with money. The story you said above is like the story of footballers Christiano Ronaldo and Albert Fantrau.

Food is more important than money when you are hungry. For being better than money at some point, a plate of food is wealth. Money can't save a dehydrated person, hence water is wealth. Humans are surrounded with multiple valuable natural resources enough to make us feel wealthy without money. The government only use money to control citizens. The funds rotates back to the issuers. I think when in such a condition, look around other valuable things in your vicinity and feel wealthy.

Those whose mind revolves around money alone hardly gets full happiness. I think that's the explanation of the saying that money doesn't buy happiness. Being happy is a wealth as well. Because not everyone can be happy despite having lots of money in their possession. Having a lot of money doesn't guarantee the person a good lifestyle. However, when a person runs short of money he'd plead for it. Which makes money everything, because with it, one can possess multiple wealths than others.

Money is needed for life to be sweeter. There is nothing that is given for free in this 21st century. We have fly past the olden days of batter trading. In this century, for life to be sweet and enjoyable with our desires being satisfied, money is the primary thing that is needed, it is money that can be used to buy our dream car, build our dream house, travel to our dream country, live the kind of love we dream of. Money is just everything we need and lastly, we need money for good health too.

Having a lot of money may not make him completely happy, money is definitely necessary to live well in life and live with self-respect. Yes there are many people who have a lot of money but they are suffering from various diseases and their huge money fails to save their lives. There are many people in the world who are waiting for death without food due to lack of money, it may be a bad experience for you to hear that Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) study this year said that every day in the world 828 million hungry people go to bed without food.

Money can never buy happiness is an old saying,we are now in a new world with new generation where you can't even eat if you don't have money, so how can you be happy if your stomach is empty and hungry, happiness in this world is depend on money, another thing is your health, because even if you are billionaire but you have a severe pain such us cancer,heart disease, diabetes,etc.,and your doctor says you only have one year to live then you will feel sad,so good health together with millions of dollars is a true happiness.

What you said in regards to the saying  " money can never buy you happiness" is true. Without money, a man can barely be happy. But, there are several aspects and sectors of wealth.

For a man to be considered wealthy, he has to have assets, not money as in fiat currency, peace of mind. He has to be smart and be surrounded by people who are smarter. Good health and a healthy lifestyle. There may be more, but these are the most important. You see, which one of these things doesn't need money to be sponsored? None of them.

I think it's all a mindset thing, if one believes their happiness can't be bought by money, they would be free from it's bondage, and may really be happy without money. And if someone believes money can buy happiness, they may never be truly happy, unless they have money, and will always want to work hard for their happiness. So this is really a mindset thing.

That is a privilege that someone has, even though their efforts are no harder than people who do not have the privilege. Not everyone can have that and it is true that only lucky people can have privileges that make it easier for them to achieve things that for other people would be very difficult to get.
But maybe that's part of the flow of life, because those who ultimately have privileges from their parents don't necessarily get it. I mean the parents probably also had to work hard to get something which in the end made it easier for their child to get something.
This could perhaps be said to be a legacy of privilege that parents have to pass on to their children.

That is both true and wrong at the same time. Having more time is the one that comes to mind, living a long and healthy life is something you normally can't buy, you can definitely try to attempt and buy that, because you can pay the best doctors at the best hospitals to make you feel better and to be fair sometimes that works, but not all the time, and sometimes they can't fix you, or you could be super wealthy and just decide not to get operated, like how Steve Jobs literally declined chemo and no amount of money could change that, dude was a billionaire, could buy anything he wants, never had financial issues, and he still didn't want a better life.

So all in all, we have to realize that things aren't always straight forward, but money doesn't hurt neither, saying money isn't all of it, shouldn't mean money isn't big part of it, having a lot of money is a great awesome thing.

in this era of materialism yes you can say that money is all wealth to those who have forgotten the norms and culture of their respective elders.

If you'll start to weight people based on how much rich they are you are ultimately gonna kill all the aethics that are in this world. It'll lead to a world where no-one is bothering what he is doing and no one is thinking about the right and wrong. In short humans will be converted into animals.

Not really, you need "luck".

I've seen so many entry level job workers who had higher degree and skillful than their seniors or even their managers, but they're stuck in there and didn't get promoted. After next few years when their seniors or managers leave the company, do you think they will be promoted? no, but those seniors and managers' child will get promoted even though they didn't contribute a lot lol.

"Luck" in this case you never know who're your parents when you enter to this world, if your parents is rich, then good, if not then you're fucked up.

Making money the most valuable thing of all things will make you lose control of your thinking, money is indeed an important thing in life, but prioritizing gratitude is more valuable no matter how much money you make. If you don't have gratitude, then there is no satisfaction. in this world.

By using wealth as self-satisfaction, it will make you have to face your thoughts and can make you stressed, so just use money as a means of shopping and be more grateful, then your life will be calmer.
